Mills Told Me To Insult Nana Akuffo Addo--Koku Anyidoho

I have a hard time coming up with a title for this article as there were so many of them that could have fit the bill like; Atta Mills is a warmonger and not an 'Asomdwehene', 'Mills is the most hypocrite President we have ever had in Ghana', 'Bible thumping Mills is a fake','Mills is morally bankcrupt' but I settled on this title because it captures Mills behind the scenes as a war baiter.

Folks, the Bible thumping Mills wearing his christianity on his sleeves has nothing good to offer this country except misery and Ghanaians should not make a mistake again to vote for this man who might be a good academician but a poor excuse of a President. A President who assumed office in a country with a self-proclaimed "ASOMDWEHENE" and has turned this country into an indisciplined nation of insulters, tribal baiters, thieves, rapists working at the castle because he has given his thirty something Presidential Aides and deputy Ministers a greenlight to insult in his name. Don't let anybody make a mistake that Mills is not aware about his Aides insulting people who are old enough to be their fathers,Mills is in the loop about everything the likes of Ablakwa, Anyidoho, Kwakye, Dogbe and others have made into an act. The morality the castle foolsoldiers have been exhibiting is not the morals we were taught when growing up. This is what Koku Anyidoho, the uncultured and sumo wrestler of a man said about what he was told to do by Mills.

"Koku Anyidoho, Director of Communications at the Castle, has said that President Evans Atta Mills asked him to issue the recent threat against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, that he would deal with him ruthlessly.

“I’m saying it today that Akufo-Addo should dare. I know Gabby (Otchere Darko) is in London and listening. Gabby, you are my friend and I’m telling you that you and that your Akufo-Addo, if you claim to be men, make a…in this country and you will see where power lies…We are waiting for them since they say ‘all die be die’. They should be careful they would not be the first to go visit their ancestry; Akufo-Addo, Jake and Mac-Manu should be very careful they would not be the first to visit their ancestry because we will not just sit down in laxity and watch for Akufo-Addo to use patapaa, huhuhuhu and kekeke to destroy this country.”

Speaking on an Accra-based radio station, Asempa yesterday, Koku said, “The interview they are playing in Ghana - I made that interview about two weeks ago on Radio Focus (London) after Mac Manu had gone and said on that same network that they were going to arm their people with guns. “And the point the president is making through me is that, let them dare, let them dare, let them dare,”

And the likes of Kennedy Agyepong… what are they talking about?...there will be no Rwanda, there will be no Afghanistan, and Ghana will remain strong and nobody will take away what we have as Ghanaians…let Akufo-Addo dare, let him dare and let him dare,” he warned again."

All Presidential Spokesmen in the world are people who are disciplined, matured, reticent in their speech, are messengers of the President's message but not the message. Diplomacy is a fine art that a spokesman should possess and not this "waawaa and buga buga" stupidity Koku Anyidoho is practising. Koku lacks sense of propriety and knowledge of nuance in speech. He is not emotionally matured to be a Presidential spokesman for a President who has no clue of what is expected from him.

Koku went a step further and said Akuffo Addo and the top brass will be the first to be killed if they dare because they have the temerity to tell their supporters to make sure that NDC is deprived the chance to steal the election. What is so different from what the NPP leaders are telling their supporters to do than what candidate Mills told his supporters to do in 2008? Didn't Mills tell NPP that if they dare rig the election, there will be Kenya in Africa at that time when Kenyans were cutting people heads in a political turmoil. What is that different from Ghana becoming Rwanda or Afganistan if NDC rigged the elections? Was it not the same President Mills, Asiedu Nketiah, E.T Mensah and other NDC honchos that advised their supporters to descend to the electoral office with weapons and force the Electoral Commissioner to declare Mills the winner? Where did this man get his moniker "ASOMDWEHENE" from? Was it not the same "ASOMDWEHENE" President Mills who sent emissaries to the USA Embassy to complain about;

"Politics is very polarized and ethnically divided in Ghana, Professor Mills said, adding that the current "Great Ashanti project is terrifying." (note: President Kufuor is an ethnic Ashanti, as are many at the top levels of his government. End note.) He would try to hold the country together, but "the time comes when the people you lead take over," he said."

Do you call somebody indulging in tribal baiting "ASOMDWEHENE" ? This is the same "ASOMDWEHENE" that stood in Central Region and falsely accused President Kuffour of building Gold stores in Kumasi when they don't do commercial fishing and calling for "ADZE WO FIE OYE" tribal baiting? HOW, HOW DID THIS MAN MANAGE TO FLUMMOX GHANAIANS WITH THE FAKE "ASOMDWEHENE" MONIKER? NDC, what is good for the gander is good for the goose. You were saying the same things NPP is saying right now in 2008, conduct a free election so that we can live in peace. "The President, in recent times, has been warning trouble makers without mentioning names. But Koku said all along, President Mills’ warnings were directed at Nana Akufo-Addo for his ‘all die be die’ comment."

We never witnessed this kind of indiscipline even during President Rawlings or Kuffour's administrations because they were able to control their Aides and they instilled discipline in their Aides unlike Mills who have allowed his Aides, some of them who have never held any responsible positions in their lives. The people who worked for Rawlings and Kuffour did respect them and knew the consequencies of getting out of line. Any public pronouncements from them without getting clearance from the office of the President, they knew will meet with an immediate dressing down or dismissals. What do we see in Mills administration? We have people who have no idea what their functions are trying hard as they can to insult their way to the top because this is an administration that rewards the most idiotic amongst it foolsoldiers at the castle. Mills has been hiding behind his Aides to perpetrate his hateful and unchristian behaviour and making Ghana boiling to its highest temperature in terms of intolerance of opposing views. The most vituperative and vile language is printed under the nose of Mills from the castle called "THE INFORMER" newspaper and if you think President Mills is not in the loop of what this trashy newspaper prints, you better think again.

President Mills is building a reputation as a teflon President and none of his bad behaviour seems to stick to him. Why did he send emissaries to the US Embassy complaining about the impending 2008 elections? According to wikileaks, President Mills sent Edward Nunoo and Sylvanos Tamakloe, to the USA Embassy complaining about NPP intention to rig the 2008 elections by pressuring the Electoral Commissioner, Mr Afari Gyan to announce false results supplied by NPP. Where did Mills get his information? This was not true but President "ASOMDWEHENE" didn't care as long as he rachet up the political temperature to favor him. "The Embassy was approached by two advisors to National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate John Atta-Mills, Edward Nunoo and Sylvanos Tamakloe, who told Political Office that Electoral Commission (EC) Chairman Kwadwo Afari-Gyan was being pressured by the ruling National Patriotic Party (NPP) to announce false results that would be supplied by the NPP. The EC Chairman told Ambassador that the allegations were "utter nonsense."

The problem with this is that, he Mills did not have any evidence to prove to the Embassy and ended up soiling the reputation of Mr Afari Gyan who has supervised four elections, 1992, 1996. 2000 AND 2004 peacefully by then. Why did our God fearing President, candidate Mills at that time used aesopian language to drum his tribalistic politics? We are all aware about his "azde wo fie oye" tribal politics he fanned in Central region, why did he contine his tribalistic politics at the American Embassy when he told the political attache about the great Asante project? What an ethnocentric President we have.

Are we all not aware of what happened in 2008 when NDC supporters besieged the EC with all kinds of weapons threatening the Electoral Commissioner to declare Mills the winner because of fears of incumbency manipulations? What is so bad about "ALL DIE BE DIE" when it was their NDC Chairman that threatened "THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO KILL A CAT"?

Let the elections in 2012 be free, fair, transparent, verification fully implemented and rig free and nobody has to worry about all die be die but when the castle budget is inflated to include GHc20.8 million to finance NDC election shenenigans, then this "ASOMDWEHENE" President is not doing anything meaningful to maintain the PEACEFUL GHANA THAT WAS ENTRUSTED TO HIM IN 2009.
