No condition is permanent, so the wise saying goes. This is truthful. It's veracity is ascertained in our daily lives. The recent fate of that notorious Pentecost Elder, Yaw Boateng Gyan, is a vivid example confirming the non-perpetuity of conditions however they initially are. Conditions are oftentimes like a flower which is blooming in the morning but folds and withers away during the course of the day, or the vice versa. Yaw Boateng Gyan thought he had all the powers and rights in the world to do as he wanted when he wanted. However, he has been cut down to size, if not completely cut out, by the overwhelming majority of votes garnered by Kofi Adams to depose him from his position of the National Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party.
In the bible, same is said at Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. (To Everything There is a Season)
1. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5. A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6. A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7. A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
My heart feels troubled for those who think they have all the powers in the world to act anyhow, disregarding the fact that there is coming a day that they will be reduced to Mr Nobody. Yaw Boateng Gyan had the malicious audacity to allegedly form a "Yaw Boateng Gyan Police" with intent to intimidate, maim and kill rival political members who dare obstruct his daft schemes for winning Election 2012 for the NDC. Now, where are his pangs, Mr Death Yaw Boateng Gyan? He will soon be history, disappearing from the political arena.
Back to my subject matter – "My heart bleeds..." Ghana has for the past many years been at the crossroads; with the situation becoming more critical under the myopic leadership of President Mahama. The callousness, intransigency, incompetence, the propensity to corrupt and be corrupted, and the infatuation with lying, have become ever pronounced under President Mahama more than under any other President in the annals of Ghana politics. Selective justice, injustice, taking Ghanaians for fools, if not for rough rides, manifestations of human monstrosities and perpetration of official corruption with their evil ramifications have become the order of the day in Ghana. Oh, what a pity!
The few those lopsidedly profiting from the worsened economic situation purposively created by President Mahama, do not give a hoot about the suffering Ghanaian lot. If they had their own way, the situation should remain as it is, as long as it takes. What a wicked wish or prayer by wicked people without foresight? How does Ghana advance, when abounding in people doting on selfish ideas that have the potency to impoverish the entire nation in not too distant future? Why should these selfish few be granted the unfettered licence to live in ostentation at the expense of the majority? Why, why and why?
Nonetheless, time will change to bring smiles back on the faces of those now weeping. It takes God and honest people to do that. For how long are we going to sit on our backside doing nothing, but talking on end? When are we going to walk the much talking that we have done over the years, oh poor fellow Ghanaians? Do we prefer living in a real world of prosperity for all to living in a fantasy world? If we do, then let us scale back on our nonchalance, leave it to Providence, I don't want to die, it doesn't directly concern me etc. attitudes or philosophies. We cannot construct a prosperous Ghana for all on such negative attitudes or wheels.
Why do we often allow a few political crooks, selfish and cunning as they often are, to underestimate our intelligence almost all of the time? Is it not this attitudinal failure of ours to not stand up to defend ourselves or assert our freedom from this political incorrectness that has led to politicians taking us for weaklings to inflict untold intentional economic hardships on us?
My heart is bleeding when it sees people like Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong doing nothing, but they probably are supportive of the rot engineered, and presided over, by, President Mahama. Many a Ghanaian is looking up to them to help positively with the course of liberating Ghana from the poisonous tentacles of the Mahama-led NDC government. However, the very people we look forward to, unfortunately, happen to be the very saboteurs grinding the wheels of progress to a halt.
Fellow Ghanaians, please join hands with me to set the Ghanaian captives free. For how long are we going to linger in abject poverty, suffer the monstrosities of society-created human Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent e.g., Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan, the General Secretary of NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Supreme Court Justice William Atuguba etc.?
Time will tell. Time changes. And no condition is permanent. Don't let us stay put in the current untoward economic and political situation without aspiring, or agitating, for, a better deal.
For my heart to stop bleeding for Mother Ghana, I shall be suggesting to whoever honestly feels dynamic, dedicated to duty, selfless and ready to be of service to their nation, people and humanity, to contact me via DJ Sources of Sources radio online UK. Prayer Warriors and those interested in exploring ways on how best to convey our worries about the current state of affairs in Ghana to the international world (leaders, bodies and organizations) are immensely welcome.
Positive thinking, dynamism and execution of purposeful duties on time, devoid of hesitancy, are the keys to speedy recovery of Ghana from the hands of political and economic crooks.
You can stop my heart from bleeding for you and Mother Ghana if you want to, by simply being realistic to call for a change in government for the better.
Additionally, I request of you to rally behind people like the Ashanti regional NPP Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, alias Chairman Wontumi. This gentleman is taking on the crooks that are rendering Ghana poor by stealing monies that they are not due for, or when they are breaking the applicable laws in place, with impunity. Remember that he is battling one Ibrahim Mahama in court over an allegedly "defamation of character suit" brought against him by clearly a person who has his hands soiled somehow.
Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan, that obstinate septuagenarian has also threatened him with a civil suit when Chairman Wontumi genuinely challenged him on his failure to exhibit common sense. Afari Gyan decided to temporarily open up the regional voters register for verification of double-registrations. Some people, principally students, complained of the voters biometric machines mistakenly showing them as victims of double or multiple-registrations.
Why should the registers be exhibited in public centres for limited cross-checking against double or multiple registrations when the affected persons are in school and may not have the opportunity to verify to confirm, and to signal, the competent authorities, about the errors? When challenged, Afari Gyan questioned who Chairman Wontumi is - a young man of comparatively no importance - to query him, or suggest anything to him. Subsequently, he plans suing Chairman Wontumi for boldly, but sensibly, challenging him. Do we leave Chairman Wontumi to fight these crooks all alone? NO, WE SHOULDN'T! He is taking them on because of the future good of you and me, and that of posterity.
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a really Happy New Year that will see Ghanaians take positive actions to liberate themselves from the shackles of "Black on Black" slavery put around their wrists, waists and legs by President Mahama and his government.
