“The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC),
Johnson Asiedu Nketia, popularly known as General Mosquito has described the
raging leadership squabble within the party as a “dangerous suicide mission”
that has the potential of tearing the party apart ahead of the 2012 elections”
(Ghanaweb, October 27, 2010)
“Regional Women Organisers of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) on
Wednesday, expressed displeasure about persons who are creating unnecessary
confusion within the party. They said these faceless people are distracting the
attention of President John Evans Atta Mills to deliver on its mandate and
pursue the Better Ghana Agenda” (Ghanaweb October 28, 2010)
Ah! Atta the MESS-iah
NDC MESS-iah on the run
Ah! All Ghanaians, all
Let us save Atta Mills
Speak truth to power
Tell JJ & Konadu
Tell them their sun has set
Tell them the FIRE at Ridge
Can never light their orbit
General Mosquito tell them
Mosquito deflated like a bed-bug
Bed-bugs in Sodom/Gomorrah
Learn to speak truth to power
Sycophantic adulations
Of errant foot-soldiers
Benighted soldiers in Charlie war-teys
Chasing after designer flairs of JJ
Running after the fattened shadows of JJ
Waving at Konadu’s burdening headgear
Sycophants
Impoverished minds
Poisoned minds
Warped minds
Fed on JJ & Konadu’s debauchery
Orchestrating a mayhem of music
Drumming on the head Agya Atta
Oh! Atta MESS-iah
The damaged Fante dokono
Demonized by the Obonsam
The Obonsam FIREman
He who uses FIRE for love
Love on a Valentine’s Day
Konadu danced FIRE dance
Konadu danced in kente
Konadu’s gift of FIRE
Fire that baptized Ridge
JJ Obonsam FIREman
He who demonized Liman
He who pummeled Arkaah
He who criminalized Kufour
He who calls Mills MESS-iah
The Konongo Kaya
Atta the Mortuary Man
Atta the Fante Bastard
Atta the child of a rabid dog
Oh! Atta MESS-iah
The snail dancing kpalongo
Dancing to the gory beat
Of Obonsam FIREman
Of the rabid bulldog
He who born dogs
Fleas-ing Agya Atta
Ghanaians be bold
Speak truth to power
Speak truth to JJ & Konadu
Coward Ghanaians, cowards
Morally decrepit pastors/priests
Politically bankrupt chiefs
Journalists in the pay of politicians
NDC stomach politicians
Now is the time
All Ghanaians
Speak truth to power
Tell JJ & Konadu
Tell them their sun has set
JJ & Konadu have had it all
Nineteen years of mayhem
Of violence
Of dictatorship
Of free-loading
Of buffoonery politics
JJ & Konadu have had it all
Nineteen years of mayhem
Valentine’s Day bonfire at Ridge
Piloted from Sogakope
The craft of Obonsam Fireman
JJ & Konadu
Blazoned in FIRE horizon
Have burnt our hopes
Our aspirations
All Ghanaians, all
Let us save Agya Atta
Speak truth to power
Tell JJ & Konadu
Tell them their sun has set
Tell them the FIRE at Ridge
Can never light their orbit
