It is rather unfortunate, disheartening and pathetic the greatest opposition Party the New Patriotic Party (NPP) currently finds itself in a bizarre circumstances that has paved way for some Propagandist in the Ghanaian Political arena to take advantage and throw dust into the eyes of discerning Ghanaians who are itching for a great change come 2016 general elections.

VICTORY THE ULTIMATE AIM

The heart desire and ultimate aim of every NPP member is to clinch power come 2016 and it is imperative for every Tom, Dick and Harry to work very hard towards this ultimate aim that is VICTORY. “The teeth and tongue do quarrel sometimes, but they don’t wash their dirty linen outside”. There is an Akan saying that goes like “Tikro nko agyina, na se afa ne afa nka a na enkyere se abontenefuor mbefa nko”. Meaning if we have differences, it doesn’t mean we should allow others to take advantage of the situation and that is why there is the need to exercise a little bit of restraint and give peace a chance and learn to forgive one another so that we can have a sound mind to strategize well and prove to discerning Ghanaians that NPP is ever ready to rule Ghana once again and offer them good service coupled with good policies that will be eye marking and beneficial to the good people of Ghana.

To mention a few, is the implementation of the National Health Insurance (NHIS) Policy, The National Youth Employment Programme that offered majority of our youth jobs. The School Feeding Programme which tremendously increased enrolment in our Public Schools and also reduced the burden of Parents with regards to giving pocket money to their wards to buy food when they go to School.

Also the Metro Mass Transport that offered free busing of school children to their various schools and the introduction of Capitation Grants to head teachers to enable them buy teaching and learning materials for teachers in the Basic Schools. Last but not the least is the introduction of Distance Education Programme for teachers in Ghana Education Service which the NPP leadership supported teachers by paying part of their School fees for them.

BURY OUR DIFFERENCES

Let us all work hand –In- hand and carry each other along, burry our differences and make our Party very attractive to get massive votes from majority of the floating voters whose only hope is in NPP to make Ghana work again. Ghanaians are feeling nostalgic of NPP and are eager and itching to bring NPP back to power come 2016 general election.

Ghanaians have weighed water and alcohol and have come to realize the difference is too wide in terms of NPP’s impeccable previous track record when it comes to good policies.

Most especially, our security to the extent that Ghanaians could travel and walk freely throughout the night without facing any problem at all but same cannot be said today as the good people of Ghana are robbed and attacked in broad day light.

EGOISM AND HUMILITY

A philosopher once said if power is been sold he will sell his mother to gain power and later use the power he has had to get back his mother. Why can’t we bury our egoism and rally behind the NPP to clinch power come 2016?

Let’s learn how to have a sense of humility by seeing ourselves as been nothing before God and man. The issue of Pull Him down (PHD) and gossip has eaten deep into the fabrics of NPP and if care is not taken it will tear our beloved and only Party NPP apart to a point of no return.

The talking is too much in our Party and the Bible tells us to be “quicker to hear but slower to talk”. That means we should take our time to examine certain things critically before we put our Party issues in public.

If we love our Party then we should at all times take into consideration the consequences the Party’s ambition would face. As members of the Elephant Party let us all make sure our actions and inactions will help protect the Party’s image as never before.

I strongly believe a lot of NPP supporters are in total support of the suspension of our Party Chairman Mr Paul Afoko and some members are also aggrieved over the suspension and have been making their voices heard in the electronic and print media.

I have no problem at all with those who are advocating that our Party Chairman be reinstated, but I think they could have used a more decent way of presenting their petition rather than the demonstration at the Party’s Headquarters only to insult and tarnish the image of the Party’s Presidential Candidate in the person of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo the man whose picture will be on the ballot paper and not the Chairman or Secretary.

Victory stands at the back of NPP’s door knocking come 2016 and it is imperative we stop the internal wrangling and give it a chance.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has suffered enough and does not deserve this crude and barbaric attitude of some supporters who want to serve their selfish interest at the expense of our great Elephant Party. The Party NPP is bigger than any individual or personality in it and in all our dealings we should have at the back of our minds the Party suffers the most and not the individual personalities we now support who one day will die and the Party will still exist.

UNNECESSARY REFERENCES

Let no member of our party try to make references to the era of former President John Agyekum Kufour before he won power for NPP by telling Nana Akufo Addo to learn from him with regards to his human relations. Nana Addo is following the steps of Kufour and he has shown he is ever ready to unite the Party to once again clinch power, but some members in our Party have deliberately decided not to help him win power that is why they go about telling Ghanaians “He is not a good material” when he contested the Presidential primaries.

What else do we want Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to do or prove to his critics in the Party he is a unifier. I am tempted to believe we have some members hiding behind the scene who are enemies of progress.

Let us all remember the rod that was used to hit Tachie; it is that same rod that would be used to hit Baah someday. If anybody thinks he/she is God and think over his/her dead body should Nana Addo becomes the President then the person will be laughing at the wrong side of his /her mouth come 2016 general election.

THE WILL OF GOD WILL BE DONE

The will of GOD will be done and he will be Ghana’s next President Insha - Allah.

Allow Nana Akufo Addo and his vice Prophet Mahammud Bawumia to come and fulfill their divine mandate for Ghanaians. In the Bible because Joseph dreamt his elder brothers will one day bow before him they nearly killed him by they put him into a deep pit and later decided to sell him and in the end God’s will for him came to pass.

In another instance, Moses after his birth was left at the mercy of Crocodiles and Pharaoh who decree that all male children be killed became Moses’s foster father that is a food for thought to the agenda 2020 planners in NPP.

If you care to know Party loyalist in the grassroots are well awake and aware of your diabolic agenda, so you people should change for the better and join the Victory train come 2016. If GOD says yes no one can say no to victory for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo

You don’t add petrol to a burning fire if you really love the Party and you want to help Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and NPP to win power come 2016 you wouldn’t say things to implicate an innocent man you have never supported as the main architect of Mr Paul Afoko’s suspension.

For Christ and NPP sake change this unscientific attitude towards the Party because if you don’t know your utterances serve as a strong weapon to our Political opponents who are very good when it comes to propaganda and they will use it to discredit our Presidential Candidate by painting him black as a violent person. “Patience they say can move mountain” and as such it is about time we put the past behind us and learn to forgive one another.

PEACE AND TRANQUILITY

I want to refer to every member of the NPP fraternity of what the scripture says in Mark 11 verse 25-26. “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. Let us remember we are strangers here on earth and one day we will go and give account to our creator with regards to our attitude to our own brothers and sisters in the Party.

It’s painful humanly speaking to lose two of our Party members in bizarre circumstances that could have been avoided. “Peace is been able to love one another” and as such let’s give peace a chance and strive to achieve our ultimate aim that is winning power come 2016. We can’t love God and hate our brothers and sisters around us all because of our selfish interest.

My passionate appeal to all NPP fraternity is let us forget the former things and pray to God to intervene by touching and soften the heart of all aggrieved persons in the Party leadership to come together once again as one family with a common destiny to prove to the NDC he who fights and run away lives to fight another day.

What the Party needs now is a stubborn measure of violent faith and prayer. The Scripture says in Obad 1 verse 3, 4: “The pride of thy heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwells in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high, that saith in his heart, who shall bring me down to the ground? Though thou exalt thyself as eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will bring the down, saith the LORD.

More often than not, stubborn situations arise because of satanic embargoes. Let’s rejoice, beloved, because no matter how powerful the stronghold of the enemy is, no matter how secured the enemy feels, the LORD will disgrace him. The enemy has won long enough .He has been boasting long enough. The time to silence him has come.

Pride goes before a fall. Goliath was the pride of the Philistines. He boasted against Israel for 4o days and 40 nights. Only one stone from David’s sling killed him .It does not matter how long the situation in NPP has been there as we pray these prayers with spiritual violence, God will fight for us! Exodus 14 verse 14.

The battle still remains the LORD’s and we shall surely overcome. May the souls of our departed Chairman Adams and brother Sadiq rest in perfect peace. The bereaved families of our two gallant Party faithful’s heart desire is to see us working together as one family, one people with a common goal that is VICTORY and nothing else.

LONG LIVE NPP.
