Nana Addo picked Dr. Bawumia to help him sell before he gets expired

Opposition Political parties together with Media Institutions, Civil Society Organizations including Christian Based,Muslims based,traditional based Organizations are an important element of our democratic process. A sane opposition helps to provide proper checks and balances. A balanced Civil Society and Media helps to aid that democratic consolidation. However, we live in a world where any group that is not in government sees itself as an opposition. Hence in most cases you find a very thin line between political organisations and those that are not. The only difference though is that only political parties seek elective office which is directly link to them being a very important part of that political landscape and democratisation.

In this write up I thought of writing about Alhaji,Dr. Mahamuru Bawumia,Running mate for Nana Addo of Npp,but had to consider few things. Unlike president Mahama, Nana Addo has to pick someone who can help him sell. As we all know this will be the third Presidential attempt by the Npp leader. Nana Addo has become like that of a product in a shop or market that people keep looking at without buying it and all what the seller does is to dust it everyday. That is Nana Addo for you. So in this regard his choice of Alhaji Dr. Mahamuru Bawumia is very crucial. He had pick him to help him sell before he gets expired politically.

So what is Nana Addo looking for in his Running mate or dancing mate? The other question to be answered by Nana Addo should be. Can I win these election? Depending on what Nana Addo's answer is-I think Nana Addo is looking for as pointed above someone who can help sell him. In my opinion this is the toughed election Npp under Nana Addo have ever taken part in. No serious well meaning npp would like to get involve because Nana Addo has turned the npp now into a cult society. What I'm seeing now from the well meaning supporters of npp are that,they are aware the 2016 is a forgone conclusion for president Mahama. So they are only waiting for Nana Addo to ditch the npp after losing the elections for the third time,then they will push for someone who would reposition the npp into the once vibrate party not the cult society Nana Addo had turned it into. So it’s not easy as many Npp supporters think.
