Nana Akomea Is A Joker!!!

Sun, 27 Feb 2011 Source: The Informer

As the NPP continues to live a dreamland thinking too highly of Akufo-Addo; who is just a mere former MP and former Foreign Minister, NDC strongman, Bernard Allotey Jacobs has posed a question; “Who is Akufo-Addo for President Mills to invite him to the Castle?”

The NDC strongman posed the question in the wake of Nana Akomea and sections of Akufo-Addo’s cacophonous praise choir asking President Atta Mills to invite the NPP flagbearer cum war monger to the Castle just as President Kufuor was invited.

Worshiping Akufo-Addo and not thinking highly of President Kufuor, Nana Akomea, Gabby Otchere-Darko and the Akyem mafia cannot accept the fact that Kufuor has taken the shine away from Akufo-Addo hence the senseless call for the latter to also be invited to the castle as if the castle is a playground for truant and irresponsible infants masquerading as adults.

According to the likes of Akomea who are desperately trying to put Akufo-Addo on a pedestal that is higher than him, the President should also invite Akufo-Addo to the Castle and discuss matters of national concern with him.

And it is this laughable position that has necessitated Allotey Jacobs questioning the locus and status of Akufo-Addo in the scheme of things.

According to the NDC strongman, Akufo-Addo is a “commoner” who cannot compare himself to President Mills, President Rawligns and President Kufuor.

According to Allotey, President Kufuor was invited to the castle in his capacity as a former President of Ghana and not in his capacity as a desperate politician who is looking for attention by beating war drums and inciting people to shed blood and die so he can become President.

“President Mills has every right to confer with President Rawlings and Kufuor because they have occupied the highest office of the land” Allotey said.

“Akufo-Addo has never been President and does not have a fraction of the experience of Rawlings and Kufuor and so what is all the noise that Akomea and co are making calling on President Mills to invite Akufo-Addo to the castle for talks” Allotey questioned.

According to Allotey, it is the over-bloated sense of importance that is going to destroy Akufo-Addo.

“You have never been a President; You are not the President; yet you want to be more important than the sitting President: it is this arrogance and patapa, that is making Akufo-Addo misbehave and misconduct himself” Allotey Jacobs said.

According to Allotey Jacobs, it is this over-bloated sense if importance that led to Akufo-Addo arriving late at last year’s Afahye Festival and wanting to feel more important than President Mills.

“He thinks Ghana belongs to him and he was born to rule that is why in his desperate bid for power, he is beating war drums” Allotey added.

According to the NDC Central Region Communications Director, President Atta Mills will confer with people of stature and not confer with desperate and reckless war mongers.

“If the whole ideas is for Akufo-Addo to get recognition by beating war drums then I want to tell Akomea that he and his flagbearer are jokers” Allotey said.

“If Nana Akomea wants to arrange meetings for his Candidate, he should go and see the EC so that they arrange IPAC meetings so Akufo-Addo can attend. At this point in time, the only place for Akufo-Addo is IPAC; that is where he should go and express his concerns and not be going around fouling the airwaves and beating war drums” said Allotey.

According to the NDC strongman, until Akufo-Addo humbles himself and accepts that he is not as important as he and his praise team think he is, there is no way Ghanaians will allow him to become President of Ghana.

“Ghana belongs to Ghanaians and not to Akufo-Addo; so he should stop behaving as if the nation was bequeathed to him. As for Nana Akomea and co, they should continue to worship and fan Akufo-Addo’s ego because that is what will cause their defeat again in 2012” was how Allotey Jacobs summed up.
