New Year Message For Ghanaians

Fellow Ghanaians by the grace of the almighty God I humbly usher you into the new year with great hopes and aspirations. As we have entered into this year I wish all Ghanaians a happy new year.

As we reflects our minds to the good things that happened to this country from the successful inauguration of Prof. Mills, the Satelites winning the world under-20 cup, the black stars qualification to the world cup and African cup, Cardinal Appiah Turkson’s appointment at the Vatican, the peace we have enjoyed and others. I believe that all this shows the indication that the year 2010 will be a fulfilling one with the government fulfilling its promises.

I however want to congratulate all the NDC members for hosting successful congresses at their various constituencies and regional levels and hope that the national elections will be also successful. PROFILE

ANTONIO EDEM ASINYO is an aspiring communicationist. A graduate of the African University College of Communications. He is currently with the information ministry after working as a marketing executive with trust consult and D&D consult. He has worked at various levels as an Advertiser, Teacher, Journalist and a Manager.

ANTONIO is the only aspirant with his background from NUGS, GUPS, USAG, WASU and AASU.

ANTONIO also believes without God nothing can be achieved. He has a been the longest serving secretary of the junior youth of the Kanda Presbyterian church.

NDC INVOLMENT

? Joined the Youth forum that same year and since has been the youngest serving member ever since the group was formed.

? Was a member of the greater Accra regional Tein of which I served in various capacity.

? Was a member of the Forum for setting the records straight, headed by Hon. Fiifi Kwetey which contributed immensely towards the victory in 2008 election.

? Was invited by Hon Ablakwa and Hon. Omane Boamah to join a group of young to mobilize the youth for the NDC during the 2008 elections. This required us traveling from region to region to campaign

? Was also a member of the collating team for the party with special responsibility to the upper west election results.

? Been on radio to speak for the NDC across the nation.

? Co foundered BELIEVERS IN BETTER GHANA to mobilize the youth to believe that we can achieve a better Ghana.
