It pains me a lot when people talk ill of some health practitioners especially female Nurses who in some way hurt patients with their unethical behaviours.I admire Nurses a lot but a few of them are dragging the profession into the mud.
I wonder if some of these nurses really understand the concept of their profession?the mother of Nursing,Florence Nightangle paved the way but some of our modern day ladies who go into nursing because of money are redefining the profession in the negative way instead of the old positive ways.
A teacher friend of mine told me about the bad ordeal a female colleague of his passed through in the hands of nurses and in the process lost her first baby when she was in labour in a Government Hospital. The nurses at the hospital left her alone on the delivery bed with her baby’s head out!just because she couldn’t push harder.A new nurse came in and helped her to deliver and on the third day lost her first child in a young marriage!
If some of our young ladies think they don’t have the heart to nurse the sick, then they should’nt even buy the admission forms to enter as sheeps and practice as wolves.
Those with the angelic and natural caring nature to be nurses are not admitted but rather those with no such qualities but have the money and influence push themselves into the system and what we get from them is hurt and pains.
If nursing is really a Noble Profession then all stakeholders should please stand up to speak against some these bad behaviours.
There should be a venue for patients to register their grievances if they meet such in the Hospitals, especially in the Government Hospitals where most people visit.
