This episode has been broadcasted before – it has no proximity with novelty. Ardent followers of the music industry will make an attestation in this regard.
Unfortunately, the excitement meted out by the populace to the previous purported reunions ended up being extinguished as the rapport existing between the two dancehall heavyweights faced periodic deterioration.
It could be recalled that at the 2017 Ashaiman to the Word Concert, the Gringo hitmaker joined his bitterest rival on stage as a demonstration of a reunion. There was unbridled excitement showcased in reaction to what transpired on that stage mounted on the Sakasaka park.
This reunion unfortunately ended up as one of the mirages witnessed on the streets on a sunny day, as contingents of salvos were fired at each other weeks later. The simultaneous discharge of artillery between the two dancehall icons persisted with its crescendo occurring on the stage of the biggest showbiz awards night in the country, barely a fortnight ago.
The deterioration of the relationship hit an all time low, making it necessary for efforts to be made assiduously to rehabilitate it. Well, the latest development is that the excitement has resurfaced. It is accompanied yet again by an optimism for some hit collaborations and a unity concert headlined by the duo. It has emerged that there is another reunion. The difference here is that for this particular reunion, some assiduous third parties were involved in its actualization.
Ace broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah apparently played a pivotal role in the reunion process, as it can be observed in the tweet below:
For those who questioned my silence on @stonebwoyb & @shattawalegh incident; they're both special.Getting them to smoke the peace pipe was important.
