Tue, 12 Jul 2011 Source: Tutu, Prince Osei

Dear Excellency,

We write to thank you and ask for GOD's unlimited grace and blessings for you in all your current and future endeavours. We the members of International Movement Against Same-Sex (IMASS) recently called on your government to state it's position on the on-going debate and hulaballoo on the practice and fight for legal status for homosexuality.

IMASS must state that it read with pure joy your position on the deadly and dreadful homosexual assault which has unimaginable negative consequences on the individual in that evil and criminal act as well as the entire society. IMASS as well as the entire Ghanaian community are extremely happy of your description and unambiguous position on the issues relating to same-sex relationship.

IMASS however appeal to you not to allow any internal or external factors influence your position or opinion now or in the future.

We also ask that do well to let your government pass law(s) that will entrench the criminalisation of homosexuality in the country;we hope that by so doing your position will not only remain just an opinion. We look forward for laws that will permanently forbid and incriminate homosexuality in in Ghana. Thank you.

Prince Osei Tutu.
