We the leadership of Young Democrats in Sissala East Constituency wish to fully appreciate the wretchedness and enthusiasm associated with the outcome of an election, we wish to call on all past and new constituency executives in the district to remain calm and build a path of unity to ensure victory for the NDC in the 2016 general elections.

Those who have been triumphant should be high-minded and elongate a reconciliatory hand towards those executives and individuals who lost. Likewise, individuals who have lost their positions should continue to put their experience at the disposal of the party. The interest of the party should reign superlative at all times. As officials of the party and activists should always be guided by the cardinal or fundamental principles or doctrine and core values of the NDC. They should channel their energies, and ardour or obsession towards one basic agenda-to maintain the NDC in power in December 2016 with a formidable and developmental oriented candidate and not the incumbent indecisive and inept member of parliament.

We are also calling on the elected executives to make good use of the vast experience propaganda secretary and his deputy since they are the bedrock of communications activities within the party and beyond. They should be allowed to represent the party at the media level to always project the party activities and its achievements.

We in the Young Democrats are appealing to the elected executive not to serve any individuals or group of persons who will want to use them for their own parochial interest rather than the party interest. This is the only way the party can fuse the gains we have made in trying to achieve the better Ghana for our people through the good works of the government. Perceptibly, we have a cooperative accountability, which can only be achieved through a united front and hence, we urge all party activists to apply self-discipline and be focused by engaging in acts that unite us.
