Parental Advice to That Alan’s Boy – Katakyie

Tue, 29 Jul 2014 Source: Adofo, Rockson

I am today going to advise Agyemang Katakyie Kwame Opoku. Similarly as a father imparts knowledge to a son, shows him parental love and care, so shall I do unto Mr Agyemang.

Remember the good things that people like Obaa Yaa did to you while you had not a place to lay your head. She fed you. Do you bite the finger that feeds you? No, you shouldn’t.

Remember when you were so close to Nana Akufo Addo, frequenting his house whenever he came to London to rest. He took you in and treated you same as he would, to his own child. Is your derelict attitude towards him his recompense? If someone confides in you, do you treat him in such a disgraceful manner as you are doing on the internet? Even if he had offended you, would you treat him that bad?

You may think I treat Asantehene, some people in responsible positions in Ghana far worse than you do to Nana Akufo Addo. Yes I do. But those people refuse to change from their evil ways. They are corrupt beyond redemption. They take Ghanaians for fools and still persist in their crimes against Ghanaians which Nana Akufo doesn’t hence, the constant castigations they suffer under my hands.

Why do you disrespectfully seek to undermine Nana Akufo Addo, the Chosen One of God? Do you not realise you are swimming against the torrent by needlessly attacking him?

When you were being deported to Ghana by the British Immigration Services after the completion of your University education, when they refused you extension of residence permit, NPP members in the UK helped you. They contributed money to purchase you your air ticket home. Do you pay them in that bad coin by tactically going on the offensive to destroy the person they are all supporting to come to redeem Ghanaians from their current shackles of slavery under the Mahama NDC-led government?

Nana Akufo Addo was not the cause of your failure to be admitted on to the teaching staff of Opoku Ware Secondary School in Kumasi when you applied for such a position. It could be your character as you are depicting on the internet that cost you the opportunity to gain employment with the school.

I know your current yobbish “pull him down” attitude towards Nana Akufo Addo is partly dictated by the financial hardships you are facing in Ghana. Most people in present day economically-ruined Ghana would do what you are doing if they did not fear God. In order to keep your body, soul and mind together, and have shelter over your head, food on your table and cloths to wear, a deported “burger” as you are, I will not blame you that much. However, let decency and strong character be your portion but not the corrupt path you have taken after. Are you and the corrupt members of government not of the same seed? I may not be surprised to see you jump on to the squeaking-screeching NDC propaganda machine any minute from now once you detect any beckoning ray of hope from that direction.

You are simply a stomach politician in disguise. Turn away from your unpleasant attitudes. Do not treat Nana Akufo Addo so maliciously again. He is a genuine person. Your effort to tarnish his reputation is like fetching water with a basket. Your efforts will be in vain, try as you do.

Kwame, change from your bad behaviour and you will be re-accommodated into the family, similarly as done to the biblical prodigal son who after his wasteful life abroad, went back to his father, apologised, and was welcomed back into the father’s household.

Be of good behaviour, oh my son Agyemang Katakyie Kwame Opoku. You can continue to support Alan Cash who pays you your wages to keep you going in Ghana. However, do not seek to vilify my “David or Joseph” to justify your wages in the eyes of your master, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng.

It shall be well with you, if ye shall heed my parental admonition to you today, 26th July 2014.
