It is outrageously disgusting to hear the so called Minister of state, Hon. Ama Benyiwa Doe telling blatant lies without any remorse or conpunction and to the extent of chartering others to help her tell such wicked lies to the good people of Ghana about the killing of my uncle Mr Oscar Kobla Doe, the late husband of Ama Benyiwa Doe, knowing that at least the late husband’s family members are still alive.
It is indubitably regrettable that a newspaper in Ghana like “The Enquirer” will allow itself to be hired to carry such dispicable lies and contraditions to Ghanaians from the so-called “honourable” Ama Benyiwa Doe. Or is the Enquirer simply doing a distortive propaganda as usual for Madam Ama Benyiwa Doe?
I believe myself and the rest of my family (the family of Oscar Kobla Doe) have every reason never to forgive Ama Benyiwa Doe for her propensity to lie wickedly about the killing of our dear uncle Mr Doe through poison in Nigeria.
Nevertheless, I am about to expose the lies of the so-called Minister and her contradictions as she’s been trying harder to camouflage Ghanaians of her iniquitous act of eliminating the Husband (my uncle) with poisonous substances which created a debilitating effect on the man and eventually leading to his death according to the Nigerian Authority. As a result, the Nigerian Authorities suspected foul play in Mr. Doe’s death and opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Frankly, I am so disenchanted with President Mills for harbouring a murderer as a minister of state for the good people of Central Region.
On Monday, 17th January 2011, Ama Benyiwa Doe was reported in the Daily Guide News Paper that she instructed her lawyers to write to the Ghana Media Commision denying a report that the honourable minister Benyiwa Doe once upon a time killed her husband (my uncle) through poison, after my first statement with the title “Ama Benyiwa Doe Must Face Justice” was published. In that report Mrs Doe through her lawyers admitted that Mr. Doe was dead but he died a natural death. The news paper intimated that the Honourable Minister however failed to tell exactly how the husband Mr Doe died or indeed what killed him naturally.
Three weeks later, knowing that this story is not going away, Mrs Doe has changed her story. It was excessively shocking to read from the honourable minister’s interview with “The Enquirer” on 9th February 2011 that Mr Doe is not dead but indeed alive and living “somewhere in Accra”. This is pure genius of a lying machine just to cover up her evil deed. Outrageously, the honourable Minister Benyiwa Doe has had the effrontery to lie with deliberate intent to deceive the whole world that she knew nothing about the death of her own husband in Nigeria. Ama Benyiwa Doe claims my uncle and her late husband is alive somewhere in Accra but intimated to The Enquirer news paper that she hasn’t seen Mr Doe for the past 30 years. This is really disturbing and shocking to hear from a minister of state lying blatantly to Ghanaians.
It is incredible and beggers belief that the C .I. D. of Ghana Police have shown no interest or sign of investigating this matter. The Death Certificate No. 2BV2082-07, Form No. D3/2.kB from the Federal Medical Centre, Lasal General hospital, G.R.A Lagos State, bearing the name of Mr. Oscar Kobla Doe (Ghanaian) with evidence of (“that high doses of rat poison was found in deceased’s bloodstream”) should give at least a clue or an interest to the C.I.D of Ghana Police Service, the National security, the President and Ghana Parliament to show a bit of interest concerning this Minister of state – Ama Benyiwa Doe. I have a copy of the death certificate but i would like the C.I.D to request an authenticated copy from the source given.
In fact, if Ama Bnyiwa Doe can lie that she did not kill her husband and for that matter my uncle is alive, then why did she once upon a time claimed that Mr Doe was a drunkard (an alcoholic) and might have died out of alcoholism? This was the very reason why our late head of the family (Togbe Francis Kwao Doe) vowed vehemently never to talk to Ama Benyiwa Doe through out his life till he passed away two and half years ago. Aunt Ama, you are aware of this, aren’t you?
On 25th Jan 2011, one gentle man - Steve R.K. Doe who claimed in his article with a title “Ama Benyiwa Doe’s Ex-Husband is Alive” interestingly asserted that Ama Benyiwa is his biological mother and continued by saying his mother (Benyiwa Doe) had four children of her own. “My mother, Ama Benyiwa Doe has four children. I am the oldest and I am 39 years old. I live in California. The second child, my sister is 35 years old and is living in New Jersey. My two remaining siblings live with my mum (Ama Benyiwa Doe) in Ghana. The last two are both less than 15 years old, so who is this mystery “late husband’s child” living with my mother that Vormavor is referring to”. To help Mr Steve R.K. Doe, please kindly go and look for your biological mother, because we all know that Ama Benyiwa-Doe has never had a child of her own before. To be frank, not with my uncle Mr Doe when he was alive, and probably Aunt Ama Benyiwa is yet give birth in her 60’s to the luckiest new husband.
“Steve R.K. Doe’s” mercenary attempt to cover up for Ama Benyiwa Doe lays bare the lies and contradictions presented by him and his “mother” Madam Benyiwa Doe. Madam Benyiwa Doe told The Enquirer on the 9th Feb that she got married to my uncle in 1973 but the so-called son who tried to cover up for his “mother” had already said he is 39 years old for my uncle Mr Doe and Ama Benyiwa (he would have been born two years before My Uncle met Mrs Doe. How is that for inconsistency?
Steve Doe also claimed that he had sisters (Benyiwa’s children who are under 15years). It is a fact that, at all material times in Ghana, Ama Benyiwa Doe has never been seen with any baby before, so when did she have the two children that are under 15 years old as claimed by her so-called son? Ama Benyiwa Doe said to The Enquirer news paper she sought and received an order of divorce in 1993 which is 18 years ago. She claimed that she hasn’t seen the husband Mr Doe for the past 30 years, so how did she manage to have two kids that are under 15 years with a man she has not seen for 30 years and a man she divorced 18 years ago?
Three questions arise here: Who are these children? Where are these children? And where is my uncle who lives “somewhere in Accra” and whose death certificate has been certified? As for “Steve RK Doe” it is almost certain that he is a “hired son” who did not take his instructions well and has ended up exposing “his mother” even more and cares not for my uncle whose name he has assumed for the purpose of writing these spurious lies.
Madam Ama, your so-called son Steve R.K. Doe has claimed in his article earlier that, “My mother has been married only once and to my father”. Steve R.K Doe also said he is 39 years, the next after him (sister) is 35 years and the last two siblings are under 15 years, thus, over 20 years difference between the second born and third born. How feasible is that? Mean while, Honourable Benyiwa Doe told The Enquirer that after waiting for some time for her husband whom she was expecting to join her from Nigeria, she went to court for a divorce. “It was only in 1993 that the court granted me the divorce and since then I have been living my life.”
The question is why should Honourable Minister of state deliberately tell such conspicuous lies to Ghanaians in that interview?
Madam Honourable Minister, I will never ever give up in my fight to have you extradited to face justice in the Nigerian courts or if need be at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. I promise you, I will fight you with all my strength until I see justice meted out to me and my family. Aunt Ama thinks she’s gotten away with a murder but I know that the wheel of justice always move slowly but will surely catch up with you one day. You can only run but I will make sure you cannot hide any more. Though I am a resident in Glasgow UK, I am highly prepared to come down to Ghana with more credible evidence and as a witness to show that indeed Ama Benyiwa Doe killed my uncle, provided my safety and security can be guaranteed by the state at this time. I have also spoken with Mrs Arkoh (a Ghanaian) in London who was the Senior Nurse on duty at the hospital during the post-mortem of my late uncle Mr Doe in Nigeria and is also willing to come down to testify of what she knows about the death of Mr Doe if her security can be assured
I know the Nigerian security is still investigating this case according to our reliable source, we urge the Ghanaian authorities to lodge an investigation into this atrocious act perpetuated by the honourable Minister Ama Benyiwa Doe. It’s still beggar’s belief that the President Mills could continue to harbour such a monstrous woman as a minister and the Parliament of Ghana could still allow a murderer to continue as a Minister for the good people of Central Region.
I am still calling upon the President, The Ghanaian Authorities and National Security to investigate this matter together with Interpol for extradition to take place on Ama Benyiwa Doe to Nigeria to face Justice!! Justice delayed is Justice denied!
