President Mills owe Ghanaians a rolodex full of apology if the news emanating from the Vanguard newspaper of Nigeria is true. It was reported in this forum on 9/10/09 that, Ghana has agreed to shelter and train the Militants from Nigeria Delta state of Bayelsa. The government of Ghana is yet to respond to this news item and hopefully it will come out and deny such a decision has been taken by the Government of Ghana.

Ghana at the moment is going through hard times economically and our security situation is getting worse with Armed Robbers and murderers terrorizing citizens daily and admitting these Militants some of whom are murderers, Kinappers and Armed Robbers would be a bonehead decision. Some of these People are hostage takers who ransoms their captives for money and Ghana's economic viability to Foreign Investors would be compromised by harboring such denizens of society from Nigeria. The little peace we have in Ghana might be in danger with these Militants from Nigeria coming to Ghana and formenting Chaos.

Who is charting the course of our Foreign and Security Policies for President Mills? Alhaji Mumuni is not a trustworthy individual to be left alone to man our Foreign Policy neither is Avoka, our Interior Minister under whose watch the Bawku conflict is escalating men of intergrity and wisdom to rely upon. Mills needs to retool his Foreing and Interior Ministry if this is the kind of advice he is receiving.

President Mills is relying too much on Pastor Joshua to dictate to him at the detriment of Ghanaians and if this report is true, one might not be far from the truth by seeing Pastor Joshua's fingerprints all over it. Ghanaians voted for President Mills but it seems we elected Pastor Joshua who is ensconced at the Castle dictating to President Mills. Maybe Rawlings was right when he fumed about this fake Pastor who is said to be behind most of the decisions of this Mills administration. Some members of Mills cabinet even revealed that,a cabimet meeting was interrupted and cut abruptly after President Mills received a phone call from Pastor Joshua, and any Presidency that relies on occultism and mysticism with a man like Pastor Joshua is bound to fail. Can President Mills send Pastor Joshua back to NIGERIA? Just a minute, can we keep Pastor Joshua at one of the five houses at Rawlings residence and rather close the border and prevent the marauding Nigeria Rapists, Murderers, Kidnappers and Armed Robbers masquerading as militants from entering our country?

The stupefying gullibility of this decision to accomodate the Nigeria Militants would not be accepted by Ghanaians when our lives are being endangered. Nigeria is a big country with a huge oil resource and has more institutions where these criminals can be trained and intergrated into their society, Ghana is not a dumping ground for Nigeria 'throw-away" vagabonds. I am really baffled by this development, how can anybody take such a decision that puts our lives and livelihood at risk? Investors are choosing Ghana over Nigeria because of the climate of insecurity there and to make such a knucklehead decision to import these criminals to our shores is uncivilized. This decision, if it had actually been made is not going to stand.
