Ghana is on the verge of collapsing because of lawlessness and we have a President that is playing a Bad Cop, Good Cop trick on Ghanaians with his Mentor Efo Rawlings the Murderer. Not a day passes without reading about the NDC Azorka boys and its Zongo Zealots taking the law into their own hands and metting out their jungle justice to anybody they deem as a threat to their stupidity. I will conclude this article by explaining why I believe President Mills and Efo Rawlings the Murderer are playing 'Bad Cop, Good Cop strategy on Ghanaians.
Three episodes that have transpired the past few days have left many Ghanaians wondering whether they made the right decision in bringing back these NDC thugs to power. They are now having a buyers remorse in buying Agya Atta the mortuary mans' mantra of "I will be the father to all Ghanaians"but it is too late now and they have to endure this administration for the next three years.President Mills is a President in name only because he has ceded the power of the Presidency to people like Alex Segbefia, Koku Anyidoho and the Ewe Mafia at the castle. President Mills is the weakest President ever to grace the coat of arms of the Presidency and as such, the hawks in his administration are carving their own little fiefdoms and ruling by their own rules without any regard to the laws of the country.
1. When Nana Darkwa, an NPP activist accused Rawlings of burning his residence down in a panel discussion at a Radio station, Kofi Adams, Rawlings acerbic spokesman assembled NDC thugs and connived with Rose Atinga, the Greater Accra Regional Police Commissioner to force their way into the station and arrest Nana Darkwa with framed up charges that hitherto was not known to anybody or been used in the history of the country because Rawlings who has made false accusation against his political opponents as a career has his feelings hurt for being fed his own bitter medicine.
Why did the Police arrest Nana Darkwa in a case that is not criminal in nature but rather a civil suit which charges can only be initiated by the accused person, in this case, Rawlings? When Nana Darkwa was arrainged in court, the same mob with tacit support from Rawlings with the same modus operandi he used the Ga Youth Association to evict President Kuffour from his office mobilized the Sogakope killing fields butherers to invade the courthouse to exact their own morbid justice. Without a timely intervention from the Police, Nana Drkwa and I.C Quaye, the MP for Nana Darkwa's constituency would have been torn into shreds by these animals wearing NDC fatigues.
Did Rawlings condemn that his supporters and advise them to refrain from that lawless behaviour? No, because he was in on it and supported them through Kofi Adams.
Did President Mills call his Party faithfuls to abide by the laws of the land and allow justice to take its course? No. A President who cannot address lawlessness under his watch is not in control of the country.
Did the Police arrest any of these stupid poor excuse of human beings who shoved, pushed and punched I.C Quaye, a member of Parliament?
2. The second episode that shows the country is sinking into an abyss of lawlessness happend at Wenchi in Brong Ahafo Region. The 'Omanhene' or Paramount Chief of Techiman mobolized his 'Machomen' to kidnap another Paramount Chief from Tuobodom in a feud that has politics, tribe and Chieftancy issues surrounding it. The Tuobodom Chief was kidnapped at the behest of Nana Akumfi Ameyaw, the Techiman Chief, he was beaten to a pulp in a van used in kidnapping him before being deposited at the Palace of 'Techimanhene' where Nana Asare Baffour, the Tuobodomhene was again beaten in the presence of Nana Akumfi Ameyaw and was then disrobbed in the full glare of spectators from Techiman town.
The Techimanhene then took Tuobodomhene to the Police station at Sunyani where he was locked up. Folks,a kidnap victim is locked up while the kidnapper and his cohorts came home unscathed from the law. The said Techimanhene is a known NDC supporter while the Tuobodomhene is a known NPP supporter and pays allegiance to the Asantehene which doesn't sit well with Techimanhene and he used his political connections to commit a crime of kidnapping without being arrested, what kind of law is operating in Agya Atta the Mortuary mans, Ghana? Do we have laws where NDC suppoerters can fraught the law with impunity without being punished? Ghana is on the precipice of reverting to 'yesteryears' where wars were used to solve this kind of nonsense and Atta the mortuary man better start being the President he was voted to be or preside over the disintergration of the country.
3.Just today in this forum, it was reported that, some NDC supporters went to the office of NHIS in Dunkwa with matchetes and forced the workers out of the office by threatening them with bodily harm unless they hand over the office to them. They then padlocked this office and bolted away in a Taxi. What is their 'beef', one may ask. It was reported that, the NDC chairman of that constituency who is a Physician was investigated about duping the NHIS to the tune of more than GHc81,000 in billing schemes and this did not sit well with his supporters so they resorted to what NDC riff raffs are known for: Intimidation. Four people were reported to have embarked on this stupidity but only one was arrested but was immediately released, that is NDC administration for you, Ghana.
I believe we Ghanaians are being taken as morons by Atta the mortuary man playing the good cop while Murderer Rawlings is playing the bad cop in this scheme in which the President, the mortuary man is acting as a peaceful man who wants the country to forge ahead without witchunting his political oppnents. The Murderer, Efo Jato Rawlings on the other hand is playing like a concerned man who wants his perceived corrupt political opponents lassoed to the gallows for stealing from poor Ghanaians in the name of justice. Finally Mortuary man is going to cave in to the Murderer and start dragging NPPians to court with his "ASOMDWEHENE' moniker intact.
