Enough Is Enough - President Mills & Vice-President Mahama Must Go Now!

Those who now seek to silence Martin Amidu, by threatening him with being charged for breaking the oath of secrecy he took, before assuming office as a Cabinet minister, are barking up the wrong tree.

Does the 1992 constitution not enjoin all Ghanaians to fight corruption - the number one cause of our nation's inability to fulfil its undoubted promise?

I am neither a legal luminary nor a constitutional expert - and don't pretend to be one.

However, common sense tells me that when the government of our country falls into the hands of powerful criminals, the honest ones in their regime are absolved from the various oaths of secrecy they took before assuming office - in the national interest and for the greater good of Ghanaians.

Martin Amidu would be failing in his patriotic duty, and in neglect of the constitutional obligation placed on all Ghanaians, to fight corruption in our homeland Ghana, if he kept quiet about the gargantuan crimes being committed against Ghanaians.

For the well-being of Ghanaian democracy, and in the supreme national interest, he must expose all the clever schemes designed by the crooks amongst those who now rule our country, to hide those gargantuan crimes, from the good people of Ghana - and the rest of the world.

Irrespective of one's political affiliation, it is important for all patriotic Ghanaians to encourage and support Martin Amidu's fight to expose the clever and ruthless crooks in the present regime, who have literally hijacked our country - and are manipulating the presidency for their own selfish ends.

Above all, it is time that that hapless political duo, President Mills and Vice President Mahama, were persuaded by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to resign honourably.

Failing that, impeachment proceedings must be instituted against the president.

The truth of the matter, is that as a result of their failings, President Mills and Vice-President Mahama have lost the trust and respect of the vast majority, of the ordinary people of Ghana.

Clearly, dear reader, there is now a real crisis of confidence in the Mills administration.

For the information of those in the NDC now using proxies to hound him, paradoxically, it is the decency, sense of patriotism and integrity of Martin Amidu, which Ghanaians are now becoming aware of - because he is now speaking out against the criminals in the Mills administration and exposing their hypocrisy too - which will eventually save the NDC from losing power in the December polls.

The NDC's salvation lies in replacing Mills with Martin Amidu as president and presidential candidate - and selecting Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings as vice president to replace Mahama, and to be Amidu's running mate for the December polls.
