Quizzing Ghanaians on the possibility of the devil dividing, and successfully fighting, against itself

Fellow Ghanaians, warm greetings to you wherever you are on this sunny Sunday of July 21, 2024. Whether you are going to church, at church, at home, or with friends and family outside your home, feel free to share your views on this write-up.

My question to you, fellow Ghanaians, is: Can the devil successfully fight against itself? Can it divide itself into two to battle against itself, if I may naively ask?

This reminds me of the joke we used to share when growing up as pupils in elementary school. We used to say, I can’t “divisible” myself into two.

The Bible even states it clearly in Mark 3:24 and Matthew 12:25 that, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”

This means that it is impossible to divide and fight against yourself in everything that you do and still hope to succeed. Such an attempt may be feasible but impossible to succeed.

Are you with me up to this point?

If the fact credibly stands that it is not likely to divide and fight against yourself and hope to succeed in whatever you do, then let me use this analogy to prove to you how deceitful Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the NDC presidential candidate, is.

Wasn't he the one who promised full support to illegal small-scale and alluvial miners (galamseyers) if he won the 2020 election? Didn't he send his NDC campaigners to all mining areas in Ghana to communicate his pledge to provide resources for them to grow their operations if they voted for him to be the president of Ghana?

The lands and water bodies are being destroyed by the uncontrolled application of cyanide and mercury by the galamseyers, putting Ghana on the brink of a disaster that threatens its water sources and contaminant-free locally grown food.

Mr. John Dramani Mahama, who does not understand what AI is, should not be taken seriously when he uses words and jargon like that to deceive Ghanaians.

Has he gone back to lick his own sputum, and if so, how does he explain it to the Ghanaian electorate?

Now that many Ghanaians have come to realize the danger that illegal small-scale and alluvial mining poses to water bodies, fertile and arable lands, virgin forests, etc., Mr. Mahama wants to save face by hiding behind the AI curtain.

Does he think he is smarter than any Ghanaian at all?

As a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, John Mahama should not be taken seriously regarding his readiness to fight galamsey. He is fully supportive of galamsey, being a populist politician through and through!

Shame on the NDC for all their demeaning attempts to fool Ghanaians into voting for them by underestimating our intelligence and assuming we have short memories.
