I was NOT the least surprised when I received a fat brown envelope through my address form one Kwaku Fosu of Fosu & co of 560 – 568 High Road, Tottenham, London N179TA dated 21st May, 2009, and when I opened it I read the above heading. Upon reading his letter, I found out that Mr. Kwaku Fosu was offended by an article 1 wrote painstakingly and factually with the heading, Ex – ministers of the NPP was it a selfish Private Interest or National Interest?
Whatever I wrote in that article dated May 21st 2009 and posted on the “Ghana web” features column were factual, straight to the point and that was ACTUALLY what happened in Ghana, and so I am NOT PREPARED to apologise to the NPP or even retract a single word or sentence from that masterpiece and I should rather be congratulated and encouraged to continue writing such feature articles for the benefit of Ghanaian youth in Ghana and Abroad. In that article, I never expressed my desire for all Ashantis to be prosecuted and wiped off from the planet. (2) I also stated that if the NPP could elect Mr. Kufuor as their Presidential candidate for him to become Ghana’s President only to sit down and supervise corruption, cronyism, nepotism, tribalism as well as closing his bloodshot eyes to the slaughter of the paramount chief of Dagbon together with 41 sub-chiefs and nothing happened - then I could also become president of Ghana one day on the ticket of NDC and perform better than him. No arrests were made and all the murderers were card bearing members of the NPP from the Abudu gate in Dagbon, with Nana Akuffo Addo as the then Attoney General in the fascist government of the NPP, nobody was prosecuted. Cast your minds back to the year 1969, when Dr. Busia also from the Akan/Ashanti block be came the underserved Prime minister of Ghana, 69 people were slaughtered like animals at the Gbewaa palace in Yendi, Northern Region and Dr. Buasia also closed his big eyes and was laughing at the Castle after speaking to the nation on radio and TV in 1969. Mr. Kufuor also did the same thing in March 2002. After the fighting at Yendi to slaughter the chief for 3 good days all communication net works to Yendi were cut, how sad.
Mr. Kwaku Fosu, you want to hear more and I am fully prepared to write and factually inform you about the true state of politics in Ghana, then and now. Mr. Kufuor became very confused, and did NOT know what to do, even a class Prefect in any school in Ghana would have been Pro-active by swiftly taking measures to save innocent people from being shot for political reasons. Mr. Kufuor rather became Africa’s No 1 tourist flying around all countries of the world with cup in hand begging for alms while thousands went to bed hungry in Ghana. I therefore stated rightly in my article that if even Mr. Kufuor could become President of Ghana promising zero tolerance for corruption only to promote 100% corruption in Ghana, and after leaving office, Mr. Akuffo Addo the “winner” in 2008 also wanted to be the President of Ghana, then I could also become the President of Ghana one day on the ticket of the NDC and perform FAR BETTER than these two vicious and deceitful politicians from the NPP parading as democrats who believe in the RULE OF LAW, and yet when they were in government they believed in the RULE OF MAN: Was it not the same Nana Akuffo Addo who stated in 2001 that the NPP should look for skeletons in the cupboards of former NDC ministers, and if nothing was found, they (NPP) should put some skeletons into the cupboards of the NDC former ministers and jail them all? Enter the foul-mouthed Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Mr. J. H. Mensah, who stated that by the time the NPP government completes its four-year mandate in 2004, the NDC would cease to exist as a political party in Ghana because the NPP government would have framed up all its leading members including Jerry John Rawlings founder of the NDC leaving only the National Pick Pockets (NPP) government to rule forever, Do they think God is a big FOOL like them? Do they thick God is a murderer and a liar like them? Do they think God is a thief and very deceptive like them? Or Do they think God encourages extreme tribalism, nepotism, cronyism, jealousy, fat lies, insecurity, cocaine dealings, day light murder of traditional rulers, contract killings, the issue of FALSE HIT LISTS of prominent religious leaders who would all be eliminated should the NDC comes back to power, in December 2008 as claimed by the NPP leadership? Mr. Kwaku Fosu, there was NO WHERE in my article in which I expressed my desire for all Ashantis to be prosecuted and wiped off from the planet, (2) there was no where in my article in which I planned to become the President of Ghana on the ticket of the NDC and send ALL ASHANTIS into my gas chambers as you claim, because I do NOT HATE ASHANTIS but I rather HATE those FOUL MOUTHED, ARROGANT, DISRESPECTFUL and DECEITFUL Ashanti politicians like Ex – President Kufuor of the NPP who preached VIRTURE and PRACTICED VICE throughout his 8 year term in office and was backed 100% by Ghana’s clergy and 95% of Ghana’s print and electronic media. I also have NO GAS chambers and does not dream or think of over acquiring them, therefore, if anybody is an NPP supporter and decides to support the above behaviour of Ex-Prez. Kufuor and his group, he/she will pay dearly for that on the pages of Ghanaian news papers as well as Ghana web features column in my write upset. Even though hundreds of my extended family members perished in the hands of the dreaded fire eating NLM “matemeho” murderers between – 1951 and 1954 led by Dr. Busia against Dr. Nkrumah’s CPP I have forgiven them all.
Let me remind Mr. Kwaku Fosu that PUBLIC OFFICE belongs to the people, so if you want the people off your back, do not join the public service and if you believe that you are a ROYAL who must NOT be disgraced or even insulted in public, then stay away from party politics, that is the main reason why the 1992 constitution bars chiefs from ACTIVE POLITICS. If you believe that the NPP is the property of Ashantis and any attack on the NPP means that one is insulting Ashantis, if that is your opinion then so be it.
Anybody who hates the TRUTH is a thief, a hardened armed robber and I can ASSURE you that Ghana had ONCE gone the Ethopian way before in June, 1979, and yet we seem to have learnt NO LESSONS from that and we are still playing the OSTRICH. Why is it that whenever the NDC is in power, the world becomes a TRIANGLE and NOT ROUND in the eyes of the so-called Angels of Democracy in the (National Pick Pockets) NPP because they cannot STEAL the peoples’ money through impunity as Mr. Kwadwo Mpianin did in his capacity as a former chief of staff in the Kufuor administration and refused to appear before Parliament, I mean who is he and what is he?
However, whenever NPP comes to power, then the world is ROUND, and if care is not taken in this country, we would soon GO THE RWANDAN WAY because of this nonsensical and nasty state of TRIBAL SUPERIORITY that is being championed by NPP hirelings who would be the first to flee across the border if such a thing should take place (God Forbid). To return HATE For HATE does NOT benefit anybody but it rather intensifies the existence of EVIL the NPP VEVER THOUGHT they would ever come to power until they lied their way and won the elections in 2000 because Ghanaians wanted change and some NDC ministers of state including their DCE’s were very greedy and arrogant to such an extent that they listened to NO advice. When you put a uniform on a goat, it will behave strangely, so when Ghanaians voted NPP to power in 2001, they behaved as if the civilian NDC government had been overthrown in a coup de’tat.
What is wrong for me to talk about former ministers of the NPP only for you, Kwaku Fosu to write to me from far away London warning me to stop insulting Ashantis – if that is your opinion, then prepare for a worse political showdown between you and me because Ashanti politicians are NOT SUPER HUMAN BEINGS who must not be blamed when they steal the people’s money while in government. No dishonest thief is bigger than my pen is that clear?
That murderous tribal grouping, NLM later became the United Party (UP) which the NPP represents today 2009, and there is always blood in the head of a tse-tsefly – do you know that – Mr. Kwaku Fosu. I am so objective and honest in the articles I always write that I condemn politicians from all the tribes in Ghana so whether you are an Ewe, a Fante, a Ga, a Northerner, an Ashanti an Nzema or whoever you are and you misbehave I don’t spare you at all is that clear?
RE – DO YOU HAVE TO INSULT OUR DEAR ASHANTI NATION AT ALL?
This article entitled “Ex-ministers of the NPP – was it a selfish private interest or national interest? DID NOT go down well with those who indulged in murderous and savagely bomb outrages which killed thousands of innocent men, women and children in their political and tribal fight with the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah the FOUNDER OF THE NATION, GHANA.
When the leaders of the United Gold Coast Convention (U.G.C.C) were fighting for independence, they coined a slogan by stating that THEY WANTED “INDEPENDENCE AT THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME” whatever that meant, only God knows. After coining that slogan, Dr. J.B. Danquah led the other UGCC members to DANCE ADOWA round the office of the colonial government, the castle housing the British Governor. They continued with their Adowa dancing, and the governor did not TAKE THEM SERIOUS, because he thought they were all CRAZY LAWYERS, until Dr. Kwame Nkrumah returned from the United States to join the U.G.C.C. members, but he had to break away to form the CPP at Saltpong in 1949 with Patriotic nationalistic slogans like “SELF GOVERNMENT NOW THROUGH POSITIVE ACTION and all of a sudden, the whole Gold Coast wokeup from it’s DEEP SLUMBER and threw their support to Dr. Nkrumah and his self government idea by also supporting the Positive Action agenda and the Governor, our colonial master remarked, oh! yes, this guy called Dr. Nkrumah is very sensible, knowledgeable and an ideological influential man whose words carries weight because when he speaks, the people listen to him instead of those crazy lawyers in the UGCC, so Dr. J.B. Danquah and his remaining UGCC members stopped their Adowa dance and re-grouped with jealousy, hate and vengeance to subvert Dr. Nkrumah’s self – government through positive action agenda in their bid to stop Britiain from granting independence to Ghana led by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Electrons were held in 1951, 1954 and 1956 between the so-called National Libration Movement or “ Matemeho” a tribal grouping which LIBERATED NO BODY but rather KILLED thousands of innocent men, women and children, BEFORE and AFTER Dr. Kwame Nkrumah won those three elections in 1951, 1954 and 1956 with the so-called National Libration Movement or “Matemeho” which later became the United Party (UP) which the NPP represents today. The NLM won massively in Kumasi and Kyebi and it has been repeated in Ghana’s election 2008, where the NPP won massively in the Ashanti and parts of the Eastern Region incidentally, the home region of the NPP’S arrogant and vicious disrespectful presidential candidate who behaved as if he had already become Ghana’s President and that the 2008 general elections was only a FORMALITY in order to endorse him. For the first time in Ghana, the NPP presidential candidate was led by a Presidential motor – cade and the then sitting President, Mr. Kufuor was also led by a Presidential motor – cade which he rightly deserved because he was our president. What about Nana Akuffo Addo? Who was he? What right did he have to use a Presidential motor – cade on his campaign trail? The NDC had NO OPTION but to use positive defiance and militancy in order to snatch most parliamentary seats as well as the Presidency from the hands of these intimidating, vicious tribal Bigots calling themselves Angels of Democracy on the ticket of the dreaded and destructive blue elephant imported from America, and so with the help of Almighty God, the NDC won the general elections NOT ONE TOUCH but in a THREE TOUCH election. So all those devils who NEVER believe in God in this country must believe in God now after the NDC’s victory and nothing else – period.
ASHANTI IS A REGION and NOT A NATION ALL
Mr. Kwaku Fosu did not understand the reason why I wrote in my last article that “God has now stripped ex-president Kufuor and his former ministers as well as his foul mouthed party gurus naked for all to see in 2009 because they all behaved like the Biblical Nebuchadnezzar and God turned them into beasts as they are already hiding in the forest and may even remain there forever. “Yes, I said it and will continue to say, I will never apologise, retract or pretend NOT to be the source of that article at all since that is what “INTERNET PROVIDERS EXPECT FROM THEIR CLIENTS WORLDWIDE.
If Mr. Kwaku Fosu believes that the above statement written by me is an INSULT to his so-called ASHANTI NATION, SO BE IT because Ashanti is a Region which forms part of Ghana and NOT, repeat NOT a nation as he falsely claim. The NPP administration led by Ex-prez Kufuor coined the “property owning Democracy” as their slogan and they acquired illegal properties far above their 10 years salaries, indulged in massive cocaine dealings, stole state assets including cars, houses, gas cookers, coal pots, mats, louvers, curtains, chamber pots, motor bikes, bicycles, brooms, cooking utensils and even pins away to their houses and refused to surrender them to the new gov’t of the NDC.
During the NPP administration, Mr. Kwadwo Mpainin was the chief of staff – when he was invited to brief parliament about the Ghana @50 expenditure, he flatly refused and snubbed parliament, who is he and what is he? In short, the NPP and its ex-ministers as well as its former Presidential candidate falsely believe that Ghana belong to them MORE THAN any other political grouping hence their disrespect and arrogance towards law enforcement bodies like the BNI and other investigative bodies – I really thought they were gentlemen and a couple of fine ladies not knowing that we voted for a banch of heartless and greedy official PEN ROBBERS in 2000 to misrule and steal the peoples’ money for 8 solid years – my friends, it is now TIME FOR YOU to VOMIT the loot you stole and hid in your farms, dear reader, if you doubt it, contact Mr. Sakyi Huges or is it Sekyi Huges, the former speaker of parliament and the former third most powerful man in Ghana after the president and his vice, he took away, HUGE ITEMS AWAY TO HIS HOME TOWN, and when contacted, he first denied it, and later asked the NDC government through his lawyer to go to Sekondi and collect those state items after he was grilled by the Police C.I.D. at the Police Headquarters. Therefore, the NPP led by Ex-Prez. Kufuor and his former ministers and countless special assistants were in government to enrich themselves, through private selfish interest and NOT, repeat NOT the national interest since they manipulated the judiciary, gagged the police, bought 95% of the Ghanaian print and electronic media which closed their eyes to their massive stealing and looting of the national coffers and rather attacked the minority NDC party ritght from January, 2001 to December, 2008, and if it is because of that factual write up and others that you, Mr. Kwaku Fosu believes that I am attacking your imaginary Ashanti Nation, so be it, because I am aware as well as all Ghanaians that we have the Ashanti region that forms part of Ghana and NOT an ASHANTI NATION. Let me remind you that Dr. Busia represented the Akan/Ashanti block because of his willingness to even lead a secessionist republic of Ashanti in 1956 with the full support of the British when his murderous tribal grouping the NLM or “matemeho” lost the general elections for the third time in 1956 in a free and fair elections conducted by the British who had wanted Dr. Busia to lead the country to independence but he lost to Dr. Nkrumah because of his love for violence, murder, deceit and tribalism.

THE PLIGHT OF FORMER CADRES IN THE PNDC ERA
IS GHANA WORTH DYING FOR?
Most people enter into politics to line their pockets; others join politics to SERVE THEIR NATION. The last group is always in the MINORITY since independence in 1957. The last group of politicians represents the revolutionary organs of the PNDC from Dec. 1981 – April 1992. It has become painfully clear that one of our main weaknesses as Ghanaians is that, we do not learn from the experiences of the past, because we have very short memories. The result is that some issues that have SUBVERTED and ultimately contributed to the downfall of governments keep repeating themselves from one government to another.
You talk about bribery, deception, nepotism, corruption, sycophancy, opportunism, tribalism, backbiting, cronyism and the Holier than thou, attitude as well as extreme greed and jealousy and they are abundant in past governments including the new NDC government just sworn in on 7th Jan. 2009. I am privileged to have witnessed how these evils have threatened and even destroyed National Security which led to the overthrow of Dr. Nkrumah’s CPP government and the way most of his ministers of state denounced him and even described him as a thief and a murderer after the 24th February, 1966 coup. I have also witnessed the overthrow of Ghana’s second Republic led by Dr. Busia in a coup led by Col. I. K. Acheampong on 13th Jan. 1972 and how most ministers in Dr. Busia’s regime also denounced him. After the bloodless palace coup in July, 1978 when General Akuffo also removed Col. I.K. Acheampong and became Head of state and Chairman of SMC II – the value WAS THE SAME I again witnessed the brutal and swift uprising of Junior officers of the Ghana Armed Forces which overthrew the SMC II on June 4th 1979, it executed 3 former military Heads of State and some 6 senior military officers and I also witnessed the price loaded action of the 31st December revolution which were all led by Flt. Lt. J.J. Rawlings and I duely participated as a P.D.C. member from Jan. 1982 through the NDC till date 2009.
It was only the 31st December Revolution led by Rawlings that stopped corruption and bribery in this country because the revolution and its organs were everywhere, so from 1982 to 1989, corruption in Ghana was about 2% but it started rising in 1992.
Corruption had being in its worst form in the body politic from 1992 until 2000 when Ghanaians actually witnessed the MOTHER of all CORRUPTION under the fascist government of the NPP led by Ex-President Kufuor and his tribal grouping where they practiced their so-called property owning Democracy for 8 years. Mr. Kufuor became a World Tourist President who always left Ghana with scores of NPP foot-soldiers and on his return, none of these foot-soldiers followed him back – why? They were employed overseas to do menial jobs and were paid in dollars, and their take home pay was more than most government officials and company members in Ghana. They also remit part of their earnings into the coffers of the NPP up to date 2009 the year that this article was written.
What I am really trying to drum home to the powers that be is that; the NEGLECTED ORGANS OF THE 31ST DECEMBER REVOLUTION should be treated the same way to work as labourers out side the country and also remit part of their earnings back into the coffers of the NDC party when it goes into opposition.
After 10 years of an extreme sacrificial revolution, the cadres were asked by our seniors to TAKE THE REVOLUTION while they took the MONEY – We said Hmmm! And that was it; No Ex-gratta awards for us. Come 1996 another election year, and cadres were again camped in Sunyani and ASKED to work hard for an NDC victory so we did it and the NDC won that election again. We were asked to take the party while they TOOK the money – and we said Hmmm again, and that was it. In the year 2000, Prof. Attah Mills was the Presidential candidate with Comrade Martin Alidu a Cadre, as his running mate and we lost to the NPP after a run-off. In 2004, Candidate Mills again chose Hon. Mohammed Mumuni as his running mate, the NPP broke his leg with a tipper truck in Accra and we lost the 2004 elections through the evil machinations of Dr. Obed Asamoah then National Chairman of the NDC.
Prof. Mills eventually became Ghana’s President and I beg to ask – what is the fate of cadres, Is Ghana worth dying for? The answer is a big NO. Prof. Mills is the cadres’ last hope now that the NDC is in power.
