“Former President and founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flt Lt

Jerry John Rawlings has called on the youth of the party not to allow their sense of

what is right to go waste” (Myjoyonline March 26, 2010).

“He [Rawlings] said a lot of the DCEs in Mills' administration are simply

incompetent and do not know how to do their work… He therefore charged the youth

to be bold enough to bring some of these issues out before the sitting President

because “if you the youth see things and do not say it and I say it then I become

an easy target all the time. But the reality of what I say is out there and you have

to voice it” (Ghanaweb March 29, 2010).

I. MILLS REAPS HIS SEEDS

Mills is having it all

Sublimated ambition

In anemic establishment

Both dreams & reality

Happiest & most hopeless man

The man whose dreams are real

Mills cheered JJ’s anti-Kufourisms

In power

Mills is enjoying JJ anti-Millsims

Mills cheered JJ’s violent threats

Mills projected his own violence

Evoking a Kenya

Inciting NDC footsoldiers

Violence if the NDC lost the elections

Even in power

Mills is harvesting violence

II. JJ’S INBORN VIOLENCE

Grand failure in a 20-year rule

That killed hope, future

That killed Akan industry

That killed judges

Taxi drivers

Pastors, traders

Death by RAWLINGS’ CHAIN

Our heroic violent man

His politics is violence

Konkomba-Nanumba War

Breakup of Akuapem state

Oh eternal peaceful Akuapem
