On behalf of the members and the Executives of NDC Virginia and Washington Metro, we wish to condemn in its entirty, the above captioned article posted on Ghanaweb on Monday the 6th of September, 2010.

We wish to state categorically that there is no member of our chapters by name Dan Asamoah neither in NDC Virginia nor Washington Metro Chapter.

We therefore wish to distance our chapters and for that matter NDC in VA and the Metro area and its members from the said publication.

We do not know any Dan Asamoah and hence do not share the same sentiments with him. We therefore caution Mr. Asamoah to desist, with immediate effect, from mentioning our Chapters in adding credence to his personal grudge that he might have with Honorable Kofi Totobi Quakyi who is a very good friend our Chapters. We were privileged to have Hon Totobi graced a joint meeting between our chapters, as an invited guest and that was all.We still maintain very good and healthy relationship with Hon Kofi Totobi Quakyi with no personal grudge with ANY of our members.

We would also like to state for the records that it is not only Hon Kofi Totobi Quakyi that we had the opportunity of having as a guest of honor at our meetings but any party functionary that came from Ghana, including President Mills (then candidate Mills) and Former President Rawlings.

Dan Asamoah, it is shameful of you to use innocent people in furthering your selfish and cruel agenda. Shame on you! Stop using our NDC chapters in an attempt to achieve your parochial interest!
