This is going to be a short response to the Catalyst report that was published in the forum 0n 01/09/12 regarding the supposed Kwabena Agyapong saying; "Voltarians are not human beings". Kwabena Agyapong never did say that, this is a complete lie.

A "leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwabena Agyapong, has said that the people of the Volta region are not human beings. He made the hate speech when he came under fire from National Democratic Congress (NDC) representatives in the Electoral Elections’ (EC) strong room after being caught red-handed for, what the NDC calls, conspiring with some others in the NPP to commit a gargantuan electoral fraud that nearly marred the 2008 elections and thrown the country into civil strife."

Folks, let be real, let's disrobe our political and tribal clothes and employ our brains for a moment. Do you think Kwabena Agyapong, a leading figure in NPP with Presidential ambitions and in the midst of political supporters and political enemies will say that Voltarians are not human beings? Is Kwabena Agyapong that stupid and in a moment of political hysteria say such a thing?

This is what transpired. Kwabena Agyapong in a heated argument with the voting numbers that were being reported from Volta region blurted out; Volta region, "Nnipa ni ho saa" in Akan which translates, there are not that many people in Volta region. Does this mean Voltarians are not human beings? Who is the NDC Twi expert that translated this Twi to English for the Catalyst newspaper? Why is this coming up now since this supposedly happened in 2008 and NDC people heard this? Why are the NDC leaning newspapers trying to create a wedge between the Ewes and their perceived Akan haters in NPP? When are you going to stop this hate engineered propaganda, The Informer, Catalyst, Lens and other NDC newspapers? This might influence the Voltarians to vote in large numbers for your NDC, but do you know the damage you are doing in inflaming tribal hate?

President Mills, whether he serve four or eight years as a President should try to leave a legacy of a united Ghana but if he continued to pay lip service to his thirty something Presidential Aides and Deputy Ministers racial baitings and the NDC newspapers that have their Editors Anyidoho, Andy Kankam, Koby Fiagbe and others working at the castle and churning out such KKK hate newspapers without Mills putting a stop to it, then Mills will leave a legacy as the President that presided over the disintergration of our peaceful country and no infrastructure development can erase such bad memories from Ghanaians and history will not be kind to him. These papers are printed under his nose and he knows what is going on, he should put a stop to it because his impulse to serve eight years as President is not important than our united country.
