Few would in all modesty commit themselves to such gestures especially in this part of the world where wealth accumulation is an exception rather than the norm. A moving philanthropic as we here choose to called him, for some time now has been helping underprivileged people in the country. His recent philanthropic work is saving an elderly man who was lying by the street of Efidduase in the sekyere east district of the Ashanti region.

This man known as Abu Razak, an aged man has been given health care dignity to save his life but all effort to get concern institutions help rehabilitate him and reunite with his family has prove futile. Verson Barwuah is appealing for support of the general public to identify the family.

Funding for the philanthropic work has been basically from personal contribution of his team known as B.Y. Foundation Team. Apart from other wide ranging philanthropic supports, the B.Y. Team projects include Educational support, Welfare support, Health education and motivational session for the vulnerable youths.

The reason we are faced with myriads of challenges in Ghana today is because of the lack of love and it is until we all go back to our traditional culture of giving even when we have little, we may continue to run afoul of what is required of us as good neighbors. Thomas Carlyle (1795 – 1881), the Scottish historian and essayist could not have been wrong when he observed that "No great man lives in vain. The history of the world is but the biography of great men".

B.Y. Foundation was established on the 11th of November 2011 in Ghana, West Africa. Since then, the foundation has carried out several projects across Ghana and hopes to go global with time.

Our Vision: To help secure the welfare and well-being of the deprive and the less privilege in our society.

Our Mission: Reaching out to individuals and communities in need one at a time in order to better their living condition and improve their well-being.

Funding: The funding of the projects has been basically from the personal contribution of the B.Y. Foundation Team. This has also determined the frequency and the quality of the projects being carried out. As a non-profit charity organization, donations are highly welcome to help the foundation to be able to do more.

Volunteer Program: The program welcomes people of all ages, sexes, vocational and educational levels, who wish to be linked to the social impact actions we take, as part of the core activities of the organization.

We seek people with a sense of social responsibility, warm and responsible, who want to make their contribution to the world.
