On Wednesday November 11 2015, I heard a famous thief, called Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay, who currently holds the dubious title as the first-ever acting National Chairman of NPP, talking about corruption in Ghana.

How this man got the nerve to accuse President Mahama of corruption only God knows. Freddie Blay seems to be the hurricane of corruption because wherever he steps he never disappoints by clothing or dousing himself in corrupt activities.

Freddie Blay who will have corruption chasing him to the grave should be the last person ever to open his mouth to talk about corruption.

Freddie Blay’s corrupt activities date to ages. He started dipping his hands into coffers not meant for him at a very tender age at the Legon Campus of the University of Ghana. Freddie Blay was a Student Representative Council (SRC) executive at the time, but before anybody could say jack, Freddie Blay had other plans for the monies entrusted in his care by the students.

Freddie Blay dipped deep into the SRC coffers. I mean Blay looted the SRC reserves and this did not go down well with the students. The students met, impeached Freddie Blay, and eventually voted him out of office.

Somehow, this confident thief Freddie Blay managed to become a lawyer and a politician. He started his serious political career with the Convention People’s Party (CPP) and rose to become the sole Member of Parliament for the CPP. But since Freddie Blay is always looking to cash in wherever money is concerned, he started pandering towards ex-President Kufuor by abandoning the cause of the CPP in Parliament and always towing the line of the NPP.

Ex-President Kufuor noticed Freddie Blay’s funny behaviour and appointed him the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament during his second-term even though Freddie Blay was the sole Member of Parliament representing the CPP. The NDC was the lead minority in parliament, therefore deserved that title but petty and diabolical Kufuor simply ignored the NDC, and gave the slot to bootlicking Freddie Blay.

Today we have a sole Member of Parliament representing the People’s National Convention and four (4) Independent Members of Parliament, but President Mahama did not play petty politics. He demonstrated his maturity in politics by appointing Joe Ghartey of the NPP as the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

Immediately Freddie Blay rose to that high office of First Deputy Speaker under Kufuor’s regime, he totally abandoned the CPP. It was all NPP. He smelled, breathed, and preached NPP by forcefully using his propaganda newspaper, Daily Guide to daily sing the praises of Kufuor. Ex-President Kufuor rewarded Freddie Blay again by buying the Daily Guide a new printing machine and other equipment to resource the newspaper to continue to play its propaganda role for the NPP much more effectively.

The diabolic activities of Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay did not go down well with the CPP as they started criticising him. In the run-up for the 2008 Election, Freddie Blay poked his hands into the CPP’s eyes by endorsing Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo instead of the CPP candidate, Paa Kwesi Nduom. When the criticisms from the CPP became intensive, Freddie Blay whose mind is always glued towards money bolted the CPP and joined the NPP.

Today the NPP is under severe siege not because of anything but the political meandering of this same Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay. He managed through Nana Akufo-Addo to contest and won the First National Chairmanship position at the NPPs Congress in April last year in Tamale. Blay’s disdain towards the NPP’s Chair Paul Afoko was very pronounced from day one when he was sworn into office.

Freddie Blay decided not to take instructions from Paul Afoko and the NPPs General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong but decided to do things his own way with active support and blessing from NPPs 2016 Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo. That is why Freddie Blay who always smells money wherever he steps, dubiously activated a dormant account of the NPP, and managed to siphon millions of cedis to fund his and Akufo-Addo’s travels and other dubious political activities.

When Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong detected this corrupt activity by Freddie Blay and the National Treasurer, Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah, and reported this criminal act to the police, the two instantly became targets of Freddie Blay and Akufo-Addo. Today, Freddie Blay and Akufo-Addo have managed to supplant Afoko as National Chair and in his place promoted corrupt Freddie Blay as acting National Chair to cover his embarrassing deeds.

Have you realized that loud-mouthed Alex Afenyo-Markin, MP for Effutu Constituency has gone missing? Alex Afenyo-Markin who was all over the news this year suing virtually everything that comes his way has gone Absent Without Leave (AWOL). It is reported that he is no longer even picking calls from Joy News, his number one darling news station. Do you know why? Alex Afenyo-Markin and Freddie Blay went robbing the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) by engaging the bank in “legal gymnastics”. But when the sharing of the loot went sour; Freddie Blay managed and used a bosom friend of Afenyo-Markin to record him during a conversation to expose Afenyo-Markin’s deeds and intentions concerning the legal battle with ADB.

Afenyo-Markin is now missing and licking his badly wounded pride as the NDC is determined to tag him as the “Legal Gymnastics Politician” when the 2016 campaign heats up.

Ghanaians have also not forgotten the thieving tendencies of Freddie Blay who schemed and managed to swindle Mike Eghan and Co. The records are there for anyone who wants to verify.

Again, Freddie Blay stole huge sums of money in the role he played during the divestiture of Kumasi City Hotel to GLHCO.

Interestingly, we now have Freddie Blay turning round to accuse President Mahama of corruption. If ever Freddie Blay finds himself in government, Ghana will never be the same. This fraudulent crook has a plan to rape the country. If what is currently happening in the NPP is a yardstick, then Ghanaians be warned. Blay is simply an epitome of corruption.
