TAP Air Portugal is by far the worst airline I’ve ever taken

I say this because I feel they are somewhat discriminatory.

When flying TAP Air Portugal from or to Accra from Lisbon, there is no in-flight entertainment at all. The planes are really old. They lack modern amenities such as charging ports, personal screens, etc.

When flying the same airline from Lisbon to the US, on the other hand, has all these modern amenities and more.

When flying the same airline from Lisbon, you are bused to the plane which is parked far from the terminal whereas, in the states, you walk straight into the plane from the terminal into the plane.

When flying from Lisbon to Accra, I was made to stow my carryon which had my laptop in it yet when I got on the plane, there were carryons that were bigger than mine. Also, there was space in the overhead storage for my carryon.

On the America leg, we had a choice of chicken or fish for dinner. On the African leg, there was no choice they just gave us whatever they had.

They managed to run out of water and juices. The only thing left to drink after taking off from Lome was 7up

Lisbon - Accra 5-6 hr flight 1 meal

US- Lisbon 5-6 hrs flight meal and sandwiches
