The NDC's Politics of Comics .....

Makes Professor Atta Mills a Puppet.

What at all is politics, an inquiring mind may wish to know? Politics is the art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs. Or better still, politics is the methods or tactics involved in managing a state or government.

In Ghana, politics is said to be a dirty game and why this? It is all because most of our politicians are comical with the methods involved in managing the country. They are there only to play politics, and they do play stomach politics of course. They deal with people in an opportunistic, manipulative, or devious way, always in a bid to satisfy their individualistic selfish desires which unfortunately are always insatiable. Most of the Ghanaian politicians are in government only to ensure the enhancement of their egos, but not for the betterment of the citizenries. Oh, what a pitiable state in which the majority of my fellow Ghanaian electorates do find themselves. The charlatanry of the Ghanaian politician is often at its peak, prior to, and, at elections time. It is the time when all the incumbents and their opponents come up with sugar-coated though sour within, empty electioneering promises. They make altruistic promises which they turn their backs on once voted into power.

Most Ghanaian politicians are often victims of their own self-inflicted immoralities. Greed has become the conspicuous better half of the Ghanaian politician. The propensity at which they are viciously energized to amassing wealth without the least thought about the means and their negative impact on the economy is not only worrisome, but also derogatory. They lack the audacity to face up to the truth. Though most of them fearing of being haunted by the phantom of their ubiquitous deceits especially at election time, still however, pursue their quest for embezzlement with vigour and are entrenched in propagating falsehoods. What a load of shame on these unrepentant voracious human pythons?

The NDC as drenched and entrenched in violence as they are, make sane people find it difficulty to accept them as any possible alternative to the ruling government. The NDC are very intimidating. They belong in an unruly class and might have probably assisted Lucifer in his battle of nerves with God Almighty. By their actions as in perpetual orchestration by their supposed "Junior Jesus", one can without fear of being reprimanded, call them Luciferians; and they are. Were they then chased out of Heaven, cast out to that part of the earth called Ghana to torment people? Yes. No wonder, their perverse attitude.

It beats my gumption to see an entire grouping of people calling themselves NDC but none excels in reasonableness but abounds in political insanity. They have no persuasive political agenda able to deliver them the next government on a silver platter. They are then determined to wrench power out of the NPP by their usual treachery championed by their cultic Former President of Ghana, Mr. Jeremiah John Rawlings. It's undoubtedly very appropriate in the parochial-mindedness of the NDC for their wayward Father and founder, J.J Rawlings, to convene a secret meeting with his heads of the Mafia (P)NDC. The said meeting with the ex-security capos of his murderous PNDC/NDC administration on Monday 1 Sept. 2008, at his behest, at his private residence on the security matters as alluded is completely out of order. Is he not for the third or the fourth time planning usurpation in what is a coup d'etat; a guy so ingrained in, "I am born to lead but not to be led?" According to his Press Secretary, they expect the National security, the army and the police, to disobey orders from their superiors including the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, the President John Agyekum Kufuor. It is a shock that sends cold chill up the spine of intelligent and concerned people to see the NDC Vice presidential aspirant John D. Mahama give credence to the Ex-security capos meeting with Rawlings on the grounds as expressed by the Press Secretary. Such an idiocy should be nipped in the bud. It is only in Ghana that an Ex-Head of State is right, and accorded the blessing to run a nonconvergent, but parallel, security measures to that of the sitting President as per the view of the NDC.

Mr. Rawlings is not any security expert as the NDC would want us believe. He was only able to frighten Ghanaians into utter submission through a blanket official snooping, intimidation, assassination, and illegal imprisonment and did employ a divide and rule tactics. By the aid of his numerous cruel PDC/WDC, macho men and commandos, he took the lives of many promising Ghanaians. Who could raise his voice against Rawlings without having their life exterminated within the next few hours or days? Is this disgusting era that the Ex-security capos and Mr. Rawlings would have us revisited? No way! Be proud of being free and poor than living under a condition of fear without self esteem.

The NDC from the word GO, that is the very inception of losing political power to the NPP and Ghanaians, have never ceased spewing stenchful threats or invective at the NPP and those civilized Ghanaians. Surprisingly however, they have not been able to convince the Ghanaian electorates how they will perform better than the NPP if handed the power to rule Ghana. It is all their usual nonsense of, "we shall set Ghana ablaze should we lose the election 2008". Their action is premeditated. But they seem to forget the gravity of the consequential punishment handed to perpetrators of premeditated crimes. Citing the instances of political upheavals in Kenya and Zimbabwe to buttress their contention is purely petty and irrational of them. They are surely by their intended misdeeds pushing for coalition government which I support, but not as a resultant of their annoying mannerism of violence. My Coalition government as envisaged is not viewed from their same opaque lens of malevolence and their ill-mannered resort.

The NDC are to tell us in a sensible manner how they will better the squeaking and screeching Education system, the collapsing Health system, and the armed-robber infested Security of the nation. They should also tell us how they will create and preserve jobs for the unemployed, raise the living standard of the citizens, and where and how to raise money for their financing. The NDC should explain to Ghanaians how if they were in power, could mitigate the ripple effects of the present credit crunch lambasting the Western world, on Ghana and Ghanaians. The NDC should simply campaign on sound agenda, be it ideological or otherwise. Their inhered malevolence will do them no good. Ghanaians are wiser now. To throw dust into their eyes by not facing the facts but based on propaganda will not wash down well with any intelligent person. Even the most advanced economies in the world are bleeding and blurting a confession of their tragic confusion amidst this era of biting credit crunch. Therefore, the NDC are to stop gloating over the NPP's misfortune if any at all.

Professor John Evans Atta Mills is not a man of his own. He is simply a frail puppet always limping in the shadow of Mr J.J. Rawlings. Vote for him and you get Jerry Rawlings with his violence for free. If Ghanaians want a return to the days where freedom of expression, freedom of association, the right to life, the right to own property etc. were ANATHEMA, then vote in the Nauseatingly Deranged Criminals (NDC). I predicated my argument on the facts.
