Too Bad: Christian Atsu - It has not been a good start for the Newcastle winger this season. After assuring the world of what is going to be his best campaign in England yet, having undergone surgery to correct a knee injury which supposedly affected his performance in the past, a poor substitute appearance on matchday one saw him completely dumped out of the matchday squad for the trip to Cardiff. On Sunday, he returned but only as far as the bench as the Magpies fell 2-1 to former side Chelsea on matchday three.
Too Good: Nana Ampomah: The 22-year-old emerged hero for Waasland-Beveren in their crucial 3-2 away triumph over KRC Genk in the Belgian topflight. The double has taken his season tally to three goals in four matches. Impressive for a winger.
Too Bad: Jordan Ayew - It's been matchday three and no sight of Crystal Palace summer signing Jordan Ayew on the pitch. The striker joined The Eagles two days to their league opener, which he missed - predictably. He then made the bench in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool, and after manager Roy Hodgson praised his impressive performance in training, it was expected that he would be given some minutes in Sunday's clash with Watford. That turned out to be a huge disappointment.
Too Good: Kevin-Prince Boateng - After an eventful debut on matchday one, the Sassuolo attacker continued his good display in Sunday's matchday two clash with Cagliari. The 31-year-old was a crucial force in the 2-2 away draw as his stoppage-time penalty rescued a point for The Black and Greens.
