Once upon a time, A man who was considered the weakest in his family and hailed from a clan considered the weakest, was given a task to be the deliverer of his nation.

This is the account of Gideon and it is found in the book of Judges, chapters 6 to 7 in Holy Bible.

In the account, Gideon was to select a group to go to war with him. He underwent a series of tests and finally he got divine approval to proceed with 300 men.

Our world, however, free it may be is under the pressures of oppression in many forms, hate, corruption, wars, famine and natural disasters. It will take a few good men and women like Gideon and his 300 to make the lasting change we need.

This will mean that the battlefield will look intimidating, the enemies and challenges will look humongous and numerous but you we are the chosen generation, we are here for a purpose higher than going the processes inhalation and exhalation, ingestion and excretion.

Life is more than that. Life is about constant change. The change we seek will start with us. As life tests us, we learn, as life weighs us we grow and as life throws us a curve ball we become stronger.

The fight will be won by a few and whether we like it or not, we all have what it takes to be in the band of few good people who will change the course of our history.

The creator who made you, the same one who put you where you find yourself has a clear calling for you and an assurance that He will not leave you nor forsake you.

So while the world chooses to ignore its ills, trudge on towards the change you believe is possible. When those whose consciences are seared scoff at you, remember that the battle of change is only won with a few good people.

Change starts slow and happens fast. Change is constant and cannot be ignored. The army for change is marching on and it’s recruiting daily.

Take a stand for truth, honor and place in history by upholding the virtues that build a good world, nation, city, home, and individuals. Sometimes the challenges will come at you with all its might but be courageous.

Einstein, Edison, Faraday, Archimedes, Plato, Michelangelo, Helen Keller and Marie Curie to name but a few were individuals changed our world and impacted generations they never lived to see. So could you! If you worry about it or don’t like it, chances are you can change it!

Stand for what is right, Go Forward, Fear Nothing, Make Rain and generations will celebrate you. Join the GOOD FEW!!! Let’s win this battle.

God bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong!

Shalom
