The historian and moralist, who was otherwise known simply as Lord Acton, expressed this opinion in a letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton in 1887: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

There is something amiss with the governance and morality in Ghana. When you castigate against them duly, people will try to persecute you, through all forms of avenues with the use of 'private cellphones numbers" to call you from the 'national security' and amongst others to threat you as they claim. In this world, life is a transition, and the same thing, when it comes to political power. Mind you, as a politician, do good by mobilising resources and embracing others to realising their potentials, and not intimidating them with names, actions of showcasing muscles which will ignite a glamorous assaults and demonstrations.

Your job as a 'deputy minister' is not to protect the minister. It is the job of the police and the security agencies, to maintain law and order for peaceful and serene environment which will speed up productivity to achieving economic growth and development. No matter how your creed, status, religion, race, ethnicity, gender, wealth, and amongst others, no one is an "ordinary person" .

If you have envisaged and envisioned, that those you rule are 'ordinary people', don't forget, that they have made you to be 'honourable ministers' or 'honourable position holders' when you take the steer of driving the economy to the safest destination. If you are a commercial car driver and passengers have boarded your car, it means, that they have the trust and confidence in you in terms of their lives, and you ought not to use abusive words on them nor show muscles, else 'no one' will board your car again.

As political animals, no conditions shall be the permanent, there shall surely be a turning round of the table. 'Youthful ages are enjoyable, but will never be the same as you age, and political power sweets, but will certainly not be the same'. Once there is a time to harvest, then, there was surely a time that you sowed.

Governance is patient, positivity, passion, provision, patriotism, politeness, productiveness, and amongst others.

May God intercede on behalf of Ghana, and bless our nation stronger to the strongest.
