The Colour of my Parlour is painted Black, and as such could be painted Blue if I choose to.

My Skin is not an element and component of a paint and so cannot be painted.

By my Complexion (Complex), one can tell I am an African.

But if you still want to call me Black, I will take it as a decent compliment because I see the letters B.L.A.C.K as

B.............................BOLD EVEN IN THE FACE OF SLAVERY.

L.............................LOVELY HEARTED TO ONE AND ALL.

A............................ACTIVE WHEN OUR NAME IS CALLED UPON.

C............................CHANGE AS AND WHEN WE WANT TO.

K............................KIND TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE TRESPASSED ON US.

To God be the glory and greetings to all and sundry reading here. Let’s not forget about all those who cannot read this august 'digest'.

This is the month that calls on us as a people unique without equal, in remembrance of our Ancestors from Africa down to the Caribbean.

It is a month of Unity through our Struggles from History.

From the Queen mother of Ejusu NANA YAA ASANTEWAA to her DARING sister ,The QUEEN NANNY of the Maroons in Jamaica. Not forgetting Shaka Zulu of South Africa, Kunta Kinte of blessed memory and the Masai warriors of KENYA.

Coming across the winds of heaven to the thoughts of men, the north of the boarder to the south of the kingdom, through the African Coasts of Dr Kwame Nkrumah to the political cells of our Honourable Mr Nelson Mandela,

who is to blame…………………who is to blame……………………………….who is to blame.

Mother………. Father………. Daughter……….. Brother or Sister, Francesca or the Visitor.

But I tell you what………………………………Once there is a will there is always a way.

But who then, is to lead for us to follow………………………………………..

Somebody……………………………anybody……………………………….. or……………………. nobody.

Looking at the Caribbean seas who do you see?

The General.... Marcus Garvey and Bob N. Marley. And what are their thoughts about us forsaking the ancestral legacy?

This reading, is to instil self-discipline, dedication and absolute commitment to UNITY and Communal Union among one and all because,

Town and Country legends we are, but legendary we not, unlike our forefathers.

We have swum for far too long, into the deeper oceans of our fore bearers.

We salute each and every inch of productive angle of progress and sensitivity since our struggle.

I say to you today, as the coast is clear, there is no fear.

Together we will take away the past from the present, and we will be left with the future in our own hands, given this picture, we will flock just like the vulture.

As our ancestors said……………………………………a word to a wise is?

As we all know that every bow and his arrow………………, every cloud and her silver lining, every dog has its day.

Although we are not dogs today is our day.

Let’s pull together all the Lines, in addition to the Hooks not forgetting the Sinkers in good spirit.

And I believe as we all know………..our ancestors will be smiling in their various tombs, morgues, and other crematoriums if they haven’t as yet reach where they all belong………………………………Heavens.

My People, TODAY IS OCTOBER AND OCTOBER IS TODAY.

THANK YOU ALL.

THIS IS FOR THE BLACK HISTORY CELEBRATION MONTH OF OCTOBER IN TH UK.
