Tony Aidoo's Annotation Is Insulting & Conspiring

Tue, 16 Oct 2012 Source: Tawiah, Francis

It is a pity that Dr. Aidoo, who is said to be one of the standing bastions as regards the NDC's Social Democracy philosophy can't differentiate between conspiracy and democracy (free movement, freedom of speech, and press freedom) with his "To Ditch NDC."

Tony Aidoo is accusing Kofi Adams & Gabby Otchere-Darko to have set the ball rolling and therefore arranged the meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo which he Aidoo sees as nothing short of a grand conspiracy to do the bidding of Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, whose main agenda, is to destroy the NDC. What Tony Aidoo dosen't want to know is that, Konadu Rawlings like any other Ghanaian citizen like John Dramani Mahama can decide to join any party of his choice at anytime. How many NDC members have already defaulted to the NPP! countless.

On the issue of the meeting between Rawlings and Akuffo-Addo, Tony Aidoo should have known better that there is no paragraph in any page of the constitution of Ghana against people or members from different parties visiting each other.

The so-called outspoken man-of-conviction, Dr. Anthony Aidoo, who is in my opinion rather trying to insults former President Rawlings with "a fist in his gloves" in the matter which he claimed as a disgraceful manner in which former President and founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings, is allowing his wife to make him misconduct himself, reducing him to nothingness. Dr. Tony Aidoo who has never been gingerly in his attacks and selection of words further climaxed insults that the Former President Rawlings has decided to "wear his heart on his sleeves", after obviously restraining himself from commenting on the unacceptable manner in which "JJ Rawlings has become a sissy", and is working hand-in-glove with the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) aiming at destroying the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The bemused Tony Aidoo speaking in a short outburst on Radio Gold's Alhaji & Alhaji programme last Saturday, 13 October 2012, related emphatically a premonition to his NDC party that, the meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo was nothing short of a grand conspiracy to do the bidding of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, whose main agenda, is to destroy the NDC. The political short-sighted Tony Aidoo is throwing insults and accusations here and there without tangible reasons, concrete evidence and logical background. He expressed in an angry tone his shock at the way certain persons are trying hard to put Rawlings and Akufo-Addo on a high pedestal for meeting to supposedly discuss matters of national interest and claimed the meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo is nothing but a grand conspiracy to driving the NDC into a ditch.

Conspiracy is what Tony Aidoo said here "it is about time that members of the NDC joined hands in making sure that Rawlings is told the truth in the face that the party can no longer contend with his wayward ways". According to Tony Aidoo, many a time, he has stood alone when it comes to fighting to safeguard the principles for which the party stands, and has oft times ended up, a victim of his stance. In the words of Tony Aidoo, “this time, I am not going to fight this battle alone, we must all join hands to fight”.

Tony Aidoo again accusing people without any evidence said "most certainly, the meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo is the product of the conspiratorial work started by Kofi Adams and Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko." He concluded that, Mr. Rawlings and his wife were part of Kofi Adams and Gabby's conspiracy that is why even though Kofi was caught red-handed, Rawlings still referred to him as a man of “integrity” Tony Aidoo describes true integrity as the legacy that President Atta Mills had left for the NDC but not the likes of Kofi Adams and Akufo-Addo becoming the yardstick with which Rawlings is now measuring integrity.
