Trial by media is unethical, Bar Counsel get a grip.

The current land mark case has not only shown how timid our Supreme Court judges are but also the lack of stamina of the Bar Counsel to quell the media circus.

It is totally unethical for lawyers to give interviews on evidence which is subject to ongoing proceedings in the way it is being done by "media" lawyers in Ghana. I certainly can't imagine lawyers in a developed legal system behaving in this way and their governing body remaining mute.

Our legal system has a long way to go, the lawyers should start by learning a word or two from lawyers for Harvey Nichols Group Ltd.
