When a Leader is adamant like a donkey blame the people

.

My brothers and sisters, they can become very aggressive, very mean, sometimes triggered by a female in heat. Young democrats said we will probably never know what triggered but it was evident that this particular donkey was involved, based on the evidence at the scene and what we saw on this donkey.

Donkeys have a notorious reputation for stubbornness, but this has been attributed to a much stronger sense of "self preservation" than exhibited by horses. Likely based on a stronger prey instinct and a weaker connection with man, it is considerably more difficult to force or frighten a donkey into doing something it perceives to be dangerous for whatever reason. Once a person has earned their confidence they can be willing and companionable partners and very dependable in work. In fact, my constituency party executives have allow our DCE to operate like a donkey who they were suppose to put her on her toes to deliver.

Although formal studies of their behaviour and cognition are rather limited, donkeys appear to be quite intelligent, cautious, friendly, playful, and eager to learn but are we seeing in today’s world?

I am still looking to see the day that we would fight for our common goal in the best interest of our District. Aptly put, am not surprise to see individuals or persons who ought to speak the truth in the best interest of all of us are now with the DCE because of their ulterior motives. The only thing I have found is it happens in Sissala East is when a donkey is spooked along the Nile and someone tumbles off. But the donkey does not attack the rider. My experience with a donkey is, if it does not want to do something, it just sits down. It will attack a cat or dog if it is not use to them and sometimes they will attack a sheep but this our Donkey was raising beef cattle.

I hate that no one bothers to put her on her toes to deliver but rather allow her to be adamant and do whatever she likes. If it is out there I cannot find it. Either no one cares or it is just to gross to release the information which only leaves room for speculation as to how the events took place. But then again only the Donkey knows and it is not talking.

What caught my eye is the presiding member election, Mr. Alhassan Bipua who is a democrat and many perceive that if elected as the presiding member he will put the current DCE on her toes to deliver. He was killed by mascot and infected with pedigree of disease to change his mind to support her before he was elected. I have led a sheltered life and heard a long time ago when I was a child that this goes on in live acts so the DCE have succeeded in dubious ways to operate in the district without fears after all they are many buttock lickers. Maybe something is trying to convince me that there are such things as ghosts. Did we not just have a conversation the other day about haunted places and ghost stories? Hopefully if it is a ghost it will correct the mess it made of my previous comment. Oh Lord! What has become of us that we as people of Sissala East can use our collective brains to bring development to our own district and allow this our DCE to still be in office now our parliamentary candidate?

What baffles me most as to why our executives have not demonstrated against the inaction and misbehavior of the DCE is that, they executives have constantly lamented that Hon Bagbin and the then Vice president His Excellency John Dramani Maham have encouraged them not to demonstrated. The big question is if it is true that these two personalities actually encouraged them not to demonstrate what alternatives solution did they put forward to ensure that the chronic issue of incompetent leadership is brought to an end in our district?

My brothers and sisters, fellow district men and women; the world of cheat which started since the inception and come into being of the second World has not been over yet.

Some leaders of over the world have developed the habit of mischief camouflaged and shoplifting others assets, properties, funds. It is against this background that madam Alijata Sulemani the DCE of Sissala East and the NDC parliamentary candidate have decided to use almost all the district common fund for her personal things. For instance, building a mosque for her uncle’s in our neighbouring country Burkina Faso and smuggling of fertilizers as well in the expense of our farmers.

Campaigning can be fun and exciting but it can be often hard, dull and frustrating.

It involves a conversation with the people and persuading them to take an unusual interest in supporting a move that they would not normally support. It means setting up and sustaining processes that are not normal or usual. All the time the forces of normality will try to shut your campaign down and to put your issue back in its box. Campaigning is the science and art of changing the mindset of people. Does it right and it will succeed in inspiring the intended target. But unstructured or poorly managed campaigns are hot air balloons kept aloft by burning idealism and goodwill. Most people don’t really get it. Accusations and trivialities from within undermine the focus of the campaign.

Politics, in its true sense is supposed to serve as a tool for societal advancement; a set-up that exist to attack societal evils such as armed robbery, poverty, disease, unemployment, illiteracy, war and backwardness. Rather paradoxically, the NDC led by madam Alijata Sulemani in our District in her chronic and incessant struggle to win power at all cost have demonstrated that, violence, character assassination, blatant falsehood and vile propaganda constitute their modus operandi in as far as the 2012 general elections is concerned. Madam Alijata Sulemani continual silence on disunity and ethnically divisive remarks is very eloquent and a lucidly unambiguous endorsement of the madam Alijata Sulemani’s diabolical agenda of removing our opponent billboards.

We must be looking out for a tried and tested pragmatic politician, who is God-fearing, humble, morally upright and above all one who can maintain peace and democratic gains we have chalked so far as a district and who can bring development as well. No wonder some young democrats described her leadership style as ‘a person with narrow intellectual horizon’.

Indeed my heart bleeds and very sad and regretful of the shameful, dubious and unwarranted acts of this killer team of Madam Alijata Sulemani in their effort to deceive the general public voters to vote for her.
