Who or what does Kofi Adams take Ghanaians for?

Fri, 3 Jun 2016 Source: Adofo, Rockson

Mr Kofi Adams, the National Organiser of the NDC, does apparently take Ghanaians for something that I am probing into to know exactly what it is. He talks on air with absolute confidence and authority, in a manner clearly understood to be the dictation of his selfish wishes to Ghanaians.

Every discerning and honest Ghanaian will bear me out that Ghana is in tatters when it comes to discussing the state of the economy, delivery of justice, the safety and security of the nationals yet, Kofi Adams tells us the opposite. He tells Ghanaians that the situation in Ghana under President Mahama is the best ever that Ghanaians have seen since Ghana became a republic.

He continues to say without the least element of plea in his voice that Ghanaians shall vote to maintain President Mahama and the NDC in power come 7th November 2016. To him, President Mahama and the NDC have achieved a lot for Ghana that Ghanaians will handsomely reward President Mahama with a second term in office to allow him to continue, and finish, his good works.

Kofi Adams claims President Mahama and NDC have laid the enabling foundations and conditions to permit Ghanaians to start their own businesses to earn more money to fill their pockets. Yes, President Mahama has permitted corruption to mushroom so much so that previously nonentities like Kofi Adams, Koku Anyidoho, Sam George, Alfred Agbesi Woyome and Asiedu Nketiah, have acquired immense wealth overnight.

Is their wealth genuinely acquired? If my views were sought on this issue or question, I shall say no! Is it not the members of NDC, even not all of them, but just the few well placed and their cronies, and those in government that have amassed all the wealth of Ghana? On this note, how dare Kofi Adams utter dictatorial statements that Ghanaians shall vote for President Mahama during election 2016 scheduled for 7th November 2016?

Does Kofi Adams live on a different planet to not know the financial, social and insecurity problems facing Ghanaians under the markedly incompetent and corrupt administration of the NDC under President Mahama?

He should please not try to add insult to injury. Ghana has never seen the scale of armed robbery, practice of selective justice, committal of crime with impunity by members of a political party (NDC), judicial corruption, and emergence of total monarchy in Ashanti region, as it is now under President “Me ntie obiaa” John Dramani Mahama.

With the few listed problems, apart from the tormenting “dumsor” that has created the ripple effect of closure of small, medium and large scale industries, joblessness and astronomical hikes in electricity bills, Kofi Adams, that damned political opportunist, wants us to believe differently hence his outrageous pronouncements on air.

He is seen to be always supportive of any situation or act that has the potency to maintain President Mahama and NDC in power after election 2016 hence the propensity at which he goes on air throwing dust into Ghanaians’ eyes.

When the Chair of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Charlotte Osei, obstinately resists the popular voice of the people calling for a new voter register and, or the orders by the Supreme Court

directing her to rid the voter register of the names of deceased persons and those who used NHIS cards to register, Kofi Adams jumps like an insane person to her support and defence.

When the Inspector General of Police (IGP) decides to block the social media in the hope of preserving the peace Ghana is enjoying but not resurrecting the justice that President Mahama and the NDC have strangled, Kofi Adams applauds the IGP and fervently accords him his unflinching support.

From the deplorable attitude of Kofi Adams, is he not seen to be underrating the intelligence of Ghanaians? Is he not taking us for fools since his boss (President Mahama) has said Ghanaians have a short memory?

For how long are these suffering majority of Ghanaians going to sit on the fence whilst Kofi Adams and his bunch of corrupt opportunists take them for big time fools?

For Kofi Adams and other NDC members taxing our patience to the elasticity point amid underestimating our intelligence, I call on all Ghanaians to join the train full of people clamouring for change to bring about the intended change for the better of all.

On 7th November 2016, Ghanaians SHALL vote to liberate themselves from the shackles of economic hardships; extricate themselves from the practice of selective justice and judicial corruption; and set themselves free from the official corruption and lies being perpetrated and perpetuated by President Mahama, his family, cronies and a few NDC gurus. On that day, Ghanaians shall vote to usher in a new administration under the august leadership of Nana Akufo Addo and Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia.

Will you buy the blatant lies being told by Kofi Adams, or you will hear my plea to vote out NDC and President Mahama seeing that there is nothing good in them for the collective benefit of Ghanaians?

Let it be known to Kofi Adams what Abraham Lincoln once said, “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time”.

Kofi Adams cannot fool all Ghanaians anymore. If we were fools, now we have wised up! We shall give NDC and President Mahama a kick in the arse on 7th November 2016 or any day any time that election 2016 is held.
