1. Dr. Bawumia is seen as more knowledgeable in relevant policy proposals geared towards solving modern problems of everyday life.

2. He has broken the jinx tag of the Akanism to the NPP's flagbearership, a phenomenon that has bedeviled the party somewhat in certain tribal territories of the country in terms of votes.

His election as presidential candidate projects him to potentially break the barriers in certain strongholds of the main opposition NDC, to add some votes to the table of his party.

3. As a first Islamic flagbearer of the NPP and a potential first Moslem president under the current Republic, is it expected that, some of his religious members regardless of party affiliation, may want to taste and feel proud about an Islamic president leading the country and may swing to favour him in voting.

4. He is seen as pragmatic and better crafted to confront the challenges of the 21 century through modern problem solving models and digital revolution to make economic activities more convenient.

5. He has the potential to attract some votes from the Zongo communities across the country to consolidate what the NPP already has.

6. His natural humility in approaching all manner of persons, gives him spontaneous attraction to the larger extent, whereas he goes.

7. The multilingual prowess of his wife(Samira Bawumia) and her ability to network with heterogeneous ethnic groups, adds more virtues to the table.

8. Many Ghanaians believe that, once he has been very instrumental in policy proposals and many practical social interventions introduced by the NPP government although he is not the president and has helped in holding the country together in the face of a global pandemic coupled with economic downturn, he stands well prepared and better positioned to continue the smooth running of the country without interruptions in established interventions and ongoing national projects.

9. He has relied on the past mistakes of past presidential candidates of the NPP and corrected same for his campaign tours.

10. Many parents are sensing danger in free SHS cancellation should any other candidate win and they believe Dr. Bawumia can better protect it.
