Why Nana Akufo-Addo and his cronies are dangerous for Ghana's democracy!!!!

Asalamu Alekum Wa Rahamatu Laah Wa Barkatuhu.

I address you this morning as I prepare to put my thought down for the weekly Friday khutba.

As you are aware the theme of the khutba should touch on contemporary issues that will shape our attitude towards life in the week ahead.

As i was reading I noticed a copy of the mirror newspaper dated 27 Feb. - Mar. 5, 2015. I was attached by a headline" the secretly recorded tape, ethnicity and politics." I read the piece over and over again to get a proper understanding of what the writer was aiming at.

The message was simple. A senior member of the erstwhile President Kufour government Mr. Osafo Mafo had said at a meeting of senior party people that he does not appreciate the country of the nation’s resources by people who do not have any of the wealth of the country situated in their home regions.

In other word, why should President John Mahama be the President when Bole/ Northern Region does not have so much resources as the eastern region?

I then remembered Allah saying that he gives power to whoever he wishes, take it from whoever he wishes and he is able to do all things. So I also wondering the meaning of the cliche “the battle’s the Lord". Which Lord was Mr. Osarfo Mafo as his brother Akyem man Nana referring to? Is it the same Allah or Nyame or God we all known?

I want to tell you all that John Mahama did not know he will be President. Nana on other hand thought he should be President by all means. Even though the two are Christians which of them is closer to believing in Qadar? Obviously it's John Mahama. And let the Nasara issue deceive you to believe what they say, for them those of you in the zongo should be chasing cows. Even when Bawumia are working so hard for them, they still think he does not deserve respect.

Anybody who believes in the shahada and the Day of Judgment should know that you don't force people to make you their leader. When you say “all die be die" you may choose to die while the rest of us live to worship Allah on the right path.

WA Alekum Salam!!!!!
