- result of too much talkings and exaggerations by politicians by Samuel Donkor
Why this fumes, emotions and hullabaloo about this Wikileaks exposures? Does it mean that our Leaders and public servants have forgotten themselves as national leaders and administrators, who have to be sincere and positive about their country when dealing with foreigners and even anybody at all times?
This Wikileaks revelations of our politicians and leaders during conversations and interviews with foreign diplomats confirms the perceptions that Africans and for that matter Ghanaians are not patriotic and nationalistic when in contact with foreigners. They tend to sell their nation at the least opportunity.
They are greedy and opportunists, who for the sake of favours and considerations, will say anything against their opponents or nation just to please and receive favours or rewards. Our politicians and public servants are too greedy and talk too much and do little.
Public Servants and Leaders forget their religious principles and warnings in their daily lives when they come to public office. They read the Bible, the Koran and other scriptures for reading sake and forget.
I write you the truth, Jesus warned his followers saying; ' There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roof tops.' Luke 12:2-3. This meas there is no secret in this World.
Again I write you the truth, 'God is not mocked,Whatever a man soweth that shall he also reap.' Gal.6:7
These revelations are lessons to our politicians, public servants, journalists and leaders when priveledged to meet in conversations and interviews, will know how to talk.
