I have come to the conclusion that John Mahama is actively and methodically milking Ghana dry of all it resources. As most of you may remember, Mahama infamously declared that "the meat is down to the bones". They are using the courts and parliament to carry out their diabolical robbery. They are also trying to auction off AMA properties to pay a dubious judgment debt owed to Eddie Annan (a long time political financier of the NDC government, and current Chief Executive of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital).
My good people (NDC, CPP, NPP, PPP, PNC etc), if we do not rise up NOW, we would wake up tomorrow and realize that the whole of Ghana has been sold to Mahama's cronies, and the new corrupt owners would decide whether we stay in Ghana or take our passports and leave (If you don't have a passport, then you must go and pay bribes to the passport guys and secure yourself one before it is too late).
The oath of the President of Ghana requires him to dedicate himself to the service and well-being of the people of the Republic of Ghana and to do right to all manner of persons.
Now the question to you and our parliamentarians is : Do you think that Mahama is seeking your well-being?
I personally think that Mahama is not only neglecting his duty to seek the well-being of ghanaian's, he is actually actively robbing the good people of Ghana for his personal gain and as such he must be removed.
Mahama has woefully failed to protect our public resources by actively looting the public purse through schemes such as Gyeeda, Subah, Sada, dubious Judgement debts and surrounding himself with incompetent and "greedy bastards".
On November 2016, Mahama is reported to have said that "For those who disagree with me and are anxious to see my back, not to worry, 2016 is not too far away. I will urge them to be patient. In this difficult job, the least one expects is loyalty and comradeship”. Mahama seems to think that once he has been sworn in as president, he has four years. He is wrong!!!
According the Ghana constitution-Removal of President:
69(1) The President shall be removed from office if he is found, in accordance with the provisions of this article -
(a) to have acted in willful violation of the oath of allegiance and the presidential oath set out in the Second Schedule to, or in willful violation of any other provision of, this Constitution; or
(b) to have conducted himself in a manner - (i) which brings or is likely to bring the high office of President into disrepute, ridicule or contempt; or (ii) prejudicial or inimical to the economy or the security of the State;
(c) to be incapable of performing the functions of his office by reason of infirmity of body or mind.
We only need a minimum of one-third of all the members of Parliament to start the removal process. However, "the resolution for the removal from office of the President shall be by a secret ballot and shall be taken to be approved by Parliament if supported by the votes of not less than two-thirds of all the members of Parliament after prior debate".
By our constitution it is only parliament that can remove the President. But the question is: can we trust that parliament would do its work for once? Parliament appears to be filled with people who only vote on party lines. Frankly, most of the parliamentarians are just incompetent and/or plain corrupt themselves (don't get me wrong, there are certainly a few good parliamentarians, from both NDC and NPP, who are truly out there to seek your well-being).
My good people, talk to your MP's to remove the president. It is time. Actually it is past time.
If parliamentarians do not act, they would have themselves to blame in the near future.
As far as I am concerned John Mahama has completely abused the office of the president it is time parliament removes him. We will not wait till 2016. Parliament must act now!!!!!!
