The incident that happened at Ejura in the Ashanti region concerning the girl whose genitals were burned by her friends mother has incenced a whole lot of people in the Diaspora and I guess as well as the people back home. A lot of the people are ready to make contributions towars the care of this girl and if possible to sponsor her to seek medical care abroad. What we need from the Authorities is to set up a Bank Account and publish the Bank name, the account number and what we call in USA, the routing number so that we can make contributions for this girl and other children in similar situations as our contribution towards the Health sector of our country. PLEASE, I am appealing to the parents of this girl, Sandra Kusi and the staff of Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital(KATH) where this little girl is undergoing medical care to furnish this information so that we can help her.

The last time I embarked on similar project, people asked me for my email address to provide them the information so that they can make contribution. That is not necessary. I will call some radio stations in Ghana to get the information we all need and get it published in the print media and the forum so that those who want to make contribution can send it directly to the Bank. ________________________________ THE STORY General News of Tuesday, 28 August 2012 Source: Daily Guide Woman Roast Girl’s Genitals

Sandra Kusi, a seven-year-old girl at Moshie Kura, near Ejura in the Ashanti region, has suffered severe bruises around her private parts. Adwoa Kusaasi, the woman behind the wicked act, reportedly dropped a plastic material in fire, pulled it and p

ointed the drops of the melting plastic at the vagina and anus of the minor whose hands she had tired with a rope. Information gathered indicates that Sandra allegedly wounded Madam Kusaasi’s daughter with fire when the two minors were playing with other friends about a month ago. One of the children immediately went to inform the suspect that Sandra had injured her child with fire. The suspect, out of anger, rushed to where the children were playing, grabbed Sandra and tied her hands with a rope. Adwoa Kusaasi then dropped the plastic material into the blazing fire after which she pointed the drops of the melting plastic at the private parts of the victim. The girl who got severely injured in the process, cried bitterly for help but the suspect did not show mercy as she continued punishing her until she became satisfied with what she had done. She left the injured victim on the ground with the ropes firmly tied around her hands until the victim’s mother came to rescue her child. Sandra, who could not attend nature’s call or urinate during the first 48 hours of her injury, was rushed to a hospital at Ejura where she was treated and referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi for further medical care. The matter was reported to the police at Ejura who immediately arrested Adwoa Kusaasi. The suspect has since been remanded into police custody after she was dragged to court. Meanwhile DAILY GUIDE has gathered that the injured girl urgently needs a plastic surgery in order to get healed completely but it is not certain if her cash-strapped parents can afford the huge bill.

The paper also gathered that it took the victim’s parents almost four days before they could raise enough money to send the poor girl to KATH where she had been referred to for proper treatment. Sandra’s mother is said to be a close friend of Adwoa Kusaasi therefore the suspect’s bloody action came as a great surprise to many."
