Nii Kwabena Bonne happens to be my great grand father and my hero.I sometimes wonder why Ghanaians don't recognise and cherish their heroes. Have always felt that we been ungrateful for the lives these great men shedd and toil on our behave for independence. All we know is the "Big Six".It's rather unfortunate that this great men(The ex-service men, Nii Kwabena Bonne & the people who led the riot) have been kept under the carpet.Am very glad that gradually the truth is coming to light. It would have been a great honor if the International Airport was named after Nii Kwabena Bonne.I now understand why we have our independence yet we still have the slave mentality and primitive mentality. We don't appreciate what we have.This is because we are ungrateful and that is causing our progress as a nation. Thanks for bringing this priceless history to light.
