WHY WERE PEOPLE NOT COMPLAINING ON AIR DURING OUR MILITARY REGIMES/AND SEMI DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENTS? AND WHY ARE THEY OVER COMPLAINING DURING WHAT IS SAID TO BE A GENUINE DEMOCRATIC REGIME?
"No complaint no Suffer"ATTA MILLS represents the NDC which was a transformed military regime that ruled Ghana for more than a decade.
During these days, Ghanaians behaved as if nothing was going wrong in the whole nation because of fear of persecution, firing squad, torture or imprisonment in ex- cominicado. Or because they preferred just to be quiet.
Could they only complain to their trusted relatives and not any government official or any institution? were Complaints limited by law and circumstance? was it only possible when it was about dissidents and other tribal, political and social enemies of the ruling government?
lo and behold !! some democratic minded entities fought and won the conscience of the then military regime to transform into a government elected by Vote and not by The Gun.
FROM 2000 till now Ghanaians have changed their socio-political character from passive to active. Do we have to Vote for a change or for a continuity? That is to say back to the Culture of silence or a continuation of the ongoing socio political transparency. Who is to lead the NPP to continue their works?
Cause & Effect:-

It is this law that comes to assist us when we are required to predict future events, including the most difficult task of predicting the behaviour of people during elections.
David Hume (1711-76), in dealing with the philosophical question of whether man has freewill showed that every uniquely different "effect" has an equally different "cause."
"It is universally acknowledged that there is a great uniformity among the actions of men, in all nations and ages, and that human nature remains still the same, in its principles and operations. The same motives always produce the same actions: the same events follow from the same causes. Ambition, avarice, self-love, vanity, friendship, generosity, public spirit: these passions, mixed in various degrees, and distributed through society, have been, from the beginning of the world, and still are, the source of all the actions and enterprises, which have ever been observed among mankind." (Human Understanding, "Liberty and Necessity.") "Cause and effect" are two sides of one fact .. for example; the seed and fruit they can never be severed."
Further, "the effect already blooms in the cause, the end pre-exists in the means, the fruit in the seed." So it follows that it is next to useless to deal with just the effect; at best one will get the briefest of relief. "The cause being taken away, the effect is removed." (Latin proverb.)
Now, What do we do, We were ruled by AFRC for some Months, PNDC for about 12 years and NDC for 8years. wasn't it enough to predict their future actions and effect on us?
We have are now being ruled by the NPP, is it enough after 7 years to predict their future actions and effects on our dear society?
What are he positions of other Parties in Ghana, like the CPP and the rest.
Our Voting abilities should be a broad based one and totally free from traditionalism, integrism and nepotism.
Vote to ratify past mistakes and don't let anyone keep your political conscience. consider the principles of cause and effects and you will know the right person or political group to help each and every living soul found on our dear land.
Help Ghana to help herself by voting according to the rationality of your mind and not according to the mind of others.
