It had been reported in Washington by the Ghana News Agency and posted on this website dated 17 September, 2008 that, Ghana SECURES $350 Million Dollars from U.S. for rural electrification programme (self help project).
In the first place, it is very important to take note that, the reporter carefully and intentional attempts not to use the word LOAN in a willful machination to bamboozle the intelligence of the stupid people of Ghana (with apologies) not to be cognizant with the detail and facts of this deal, hence, the huge deception tactics of this administration.
Firstly, SECURES means, to be free from any fears, solid. It also means protected.
Secondly, the "The money will be made available through the Exim Bank of the U.S. and JP Marjan and Chase also of U.S." This misconception means that the money will be coming from somewhere and would be channeled through the Exim bank. Is the Money coming from JP Marjan and the Chase. Note that, it did not say Chase Bank. Also strange, Marjan is a Hotel chain and not a Banking institution. We all know that there is a Bank Called J.P. Morgan Chase in the U.S. But never heard of JP Marjan as a financial institution in the U.S. My reseach reveals that, there is JP Marjan in Split, a city in CROATIA situated on the Adriatic Sea.
Thirdly, It is important to note that this money supposedly coming to Ghana has nothing to do with the U.S. government. Besides, the President of the United States was not present at the signing of the deal. Kufuor was present only to eye witnessed the signing of the deal but never append his signature. Furthermore, the Minister of Finance and economic affairs of Ghana Hon. Kwadjo Baah Wiredu was not present to sign the deal as always. Furthermore, the Deputy Minister of Finance and economic Affairs Professor George Gyan Baffour only initialed the secured money deal( Not a Loan) but did not sign the deal, what is happening here?
Fourthly, why was the secured deal signed in Washington, D.C. at the Blairs house, the annex of the White House when the deal is not governmental money going to Ghana?
Please take note that Mr. Joe Grandmaison, a board member of the Bank (Which Bank it did not say or specify) signed for his institution. Any genuine financial contract must be signed by a Bank official, either a Chairman or his Vice but not a board member.
I want all Ghanaians to please read this article very expeditiously and examine if there is something fishy as I see it.
Please get back to me, I might be delusionally inclined to suspect that, this $350 million loan or gift or a hoax is in the making.
PS: I took this article from the web. can you publish it
