GHANA NEEDS THEM FROM YOU.

Your Excellencies,Former Presidents Rawlings, Kufour and President Atta Mills , I

congratulate you on your performances that have brought Ghana to this far.

But still you owe Mother Ghana a duty to perform .

Please do not leave a burden on our future Professors ,Archeologists, Historians,

Community Leaders etc. to delve into archives and sometimes dig out for your remains

( when you are with your ancestors) before they will come out with facts or

half-truth facts for generations yet unborn to know that there was somebody

called..........., who stood for this............., who did this.............?

Please, instead of exchanging words among yourselves, sit down and set up a

committee to plan and raise money to put up your Monumental PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARIES.

If our Leaders and for that matter Former Presidents and Incumbent cannot see eye to

eye, especially on matters of national interest, come together sometimes to advise

the incumbent for the benefit of the country , how can they expect the citizens ,

tribes , chiefs, marriage couples , children of different opinions and future

leaders to see eye to eye. We look up to you for change in our lives and for

survival.

Mother Ghana needs Libraries where we can always find your ;

1.Achievements and how you were able to do it.

2.What you stood / stand for..i.e your principles.

3.What you could not accomplish during your tenure of office for future leaders to

acquaint themselves with and accomplish for the benefit of Mother Ghana.

4. Subsequent ideas and vision you may have after your presidency.

5. Mistakes / shortfalls to avert repeat by future leaders and citizens.

6. Biography.

7. Speeches;- Written and video of their presentations both local and International.

8. Colourful durbars, Party rallies, other functions you attended during and after

presidency.

9. Series of Lectures both local and International that you will give post presidency.

10. Pictures , videos, attires and others you may donate for future generations to

visualize, feel and be inspired.

11. It will hold lectures, conferences and lastly generate funds for you, your

family , communities you belong to and Ghana at large.

12. Numerous gifts you have and continue to receive be kept.

Your Excellencies, Ghana has limited resources to put up a befitting monuments in

honour of you when you are gone. Please assist future governments to use the money

meant for those remembrance projects to develop the talents in the citizenry by

putting up the library of your choice and move Ghana forward.

The libraries will definitely attract tourists, local and International students as

well as those politicians who share or may not share the same views with you. Your

physical presence will always be felt when one visits your library.

The libraries will be your respective ‘SOUL OFFICE’ to visit and will pave way for

future Presidents to follow suit thereby easing the burden of researches on you by

teachers, lectures and poor elders in the villages who are noted for telling oral

history to their children.

They will serve as an inspiration to the community which you belonged since the

libraries should preferably be sited at your place of birth or ancestral community.

You are the living Presidents at this technological age so kindly team up to plant

UNITY of HOPE for future leaders and generations yet unborn.

In modern politics we disagree to agree and move on bipartisan on matters of

national interest. BUT not disagree to enmity.

Please find a way to uproot the newly introduced politics of revenge and give the

next generation chance to solve the tribal sentiments which has become the first

food to taste after one’s birth in Ghana.

Please do not deprive the generations yet unborn with these historical and

monumental Presidential Libraries and Unity of Hope.

Your Excellencies, The Country Ghana has made you what you are today. I , therefore,

humbly, appeal to you that in all your dealings, you must put ‘COUNTRY FIRST.’ With

COUNTRY FIRST as your watch word, you will eschew personal sentiments and

animosities and team up to play a positive role that will move ‘THE COUNTRY’ forward

YES, YOU CAN DO IT.

Mother Ghana and generations yet unborn need them badly from YOU.

Long Live Your Excellencies , Long Live Ghana.

Thank You.
