The tallest man in the Police Service, Mr. Paul Tawiah Quaye has been always trying to make the POLICE professional a respectful and non-corrupt corps of men and women in the black uniform but there is still a “black sheep” within the black uniform. The Policeman, Daniel Addo who thinks “who controls the controller” is using the Tax payer’s Police patrol car as a lion’s den to raping a school girl, of course a teenager.
The Cop, Daniel Addo who has taken crime for jamboree raped a poor 16 year old (teenager) school girl on two different times, always with the flimsy excuse of dropping the teenager school girl, Tina, his own neighbor, on her way home from school with the Police patrol car but instead raped her.
After the policeman had raped Tina (the second time), the school girl said she was bleeding and feeling pains after Daniel Addo forcibly pulled her pants and had sex with her at the back of the Police patrol car. Tina, having told him she was feeling pains in her private part, he asked me not to tell anyone and that it would be alright. He then gave me GH¢2.00
This is how the 16-year-old girl, Tina told the Heritage newspaper, her ordeal, after the sexual abuse Addo subjected her to.
The said Policeman Daniel Addo is stationed at the Kpone Police office in the Greater Accra Region. According to Tina, Thursday’s was not the first, but the second, time the police officer had sexually exploited her. Narrating her story to The Heritage Newspaper in an interview, the school girl said, the second time was Thursday, November 11, when she was heading home after school when the Cop, who happened to be a family friend, offered to pick her home in the Police patrol car and instead of driving her home he rather drove to the bush, where he made a jamboree out of a crime by forcibly and painfully raping her.
The whole episode came to light when Tina’s mother, dragged her daughter to the administration of the girl’s school for her to be dealt with by the school authorities. Speaking in an interview to The Heritage, Auntie Mary, Tina’s mother intimated that, when her daughter arrived home very late that Thursday, she became suspicious and subjected her to lashes while querying where she had been. That was when she told her mother what brother Dan (the Policeman) had done to her. The mother was shocked and that made her escorted Tina to school.
According to Auntie Marry, Brother Dan, the Cop had the effrontery to later call her to inform her not to worry and that he only “took my daughter out.” The traumatized Auntie Mary had another shock from a supposed family friend, Dan had long feigned taking upon himself the honorable task of advising her little daughter Tina, not knowing he had diabolic plans.
Auntie Mary now hopes the police officer would be made by the authorities to face the full heat of the law to serve as a deterrent to men who cannot close the zips of their trousers.
The issue has been reported to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit of the Police at Ashaiman.
