The president saw that he was losing miserably so he arranged with the military to act a coup. Where in the world do you find the ousted President being the one to announce a coup? Using his phone to make calls to international media. It was a shambolic attempt to deny the opposition victory. Simple.

  A pathetic mish-mash of opinions on the fake coup orchestrated by Embalo and the narco-military of Guinea-Bissau. It is gratifying, however, that "Kaiser" Amidu has exposed himself as part of the the despicable aparatchiks of the anti-constitutional, fascist government of Rawlings. The young generations not born during that infamous epoch now know who really the fake anti-corruption "vigilante" and self-styled constitutional expert, Martin Amidu, really is.
  
  The fake coup by the criminal, narco-military of Guinea-Bissau, of which the tyrant Embalo was the orchestrator, was a plot aided and abetted by the neocolonial West, particularly France, to prevent the emergence of a truly democratic, sovereigntist, anti-narco, anti-imperialist government in Guinea-Bissau, as has occurred in the AES countries. The script was exactly what was used in the other fake coups in Gabon, Guinea-Conakry and recently in Madagascar. "Francafrique" is still alive.
  
  Amidu is free to indulge in his self-agrandisement and self-reinvention narratives. We will never be fooled by his role in the fascist coup government of Rawlings. Rawlings may have fooled the world with his left lexicon appropriation. Blaise Compaore may have fooled Sankara with his murderous treachery. Amidu will never fool us with anything he concocts!

  He continues to hail the suffering that the counterrevolution impose on people.
  So Martin Amidu is happy that Jerry John Rawlings counterrevolution took education, employment, food, health, sanitation and water from the reach of the poor.
  We must do our best to overcome the hallucination effect of anyone shouting that I am the redeemer, when in fact he imposes suffering on the people.
