Statement on unity and support for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as NPP flagbearer

Dear Fellow Patriots of the New Patriotic Party,

As a governance specialist, leadership enthusiast, and dedicated member of our great party, I have always believed in the power of unity, integrity, and bold vision to drive Ghana forward. Our shared ideals—rooted in democratic governance, economic empowerment, security and grassroots mobilization—have been the foundation of the NPP's successes. Yet, following our challenges in the 2024 elections, we stand at a pivotal moment. It is a time for reflection, renewal, and resolute action to reclaim our mandate and deliver prosperity to every Ghanaian.

Today, I reaffirm my unwavering endorsement of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as the NPP's flagbearer in the upcoming January 31, 2026, presidential primaries and as our presidential candidate for the December 7, 2028, general elections.

Kennedy embodies the practical, fearless leadership Ghana needs: a proven entrepreneur who has created jobs, championed industrialization, and stood unyieldingly against corruption.

His track record as a major financier and steadfast supporter of the NPP, combined with his commitment to enterprising initiatives and youth empowerment, positions him uniquely to inspire our base and win back the hearts of Ghanaians.

As I have stated before, Kennedy thinks like a market player—understanding the real struggles of our people and delivering solutions that foster self-reliance and growth.

To the rank and file of the NPP—our dedicated delegates, executives, and grassroots warriors—I issue this call to unity: Let us rally as one family behind Kennedy Agyapong.

Our strength lies not in division but in collective resolve. We must move beyond internal rivalries and focus on the greater goal: recapturing power in 2028 to implement policies that secure our nation's future, from robust job creation and industrial reforms to enhanced governance and security.

I extend a special appeal to all presidential hopefuls and their supporters: In the spirit of party loyalty and national service, join us in supporting Kennedy. Your talents and dedication are invaluable; together, we can harness them to build a formidable team.

Let us set aside personal ambitions for the sake of our shared vision, drawing inspiration from our party's history of resilience and ideological clarity.

As we prepare for the primaries, remember that a united NPP is an unstoppable force—one that can hold the current government accountable while rebuilding with discipline, innovation, and inclusivity.

Ghana deserves leaders who prioritize the people over politics, and Kennedy Agyapong is that leader.
