H. E. John Mahama,

Greetings in the name of Yeshua Hamachiah, our Redeemer.

Sir, the 30-year mining lease for the Damang Gold Mine, originally granted on 18th April 1995 when Ghana was 38 years old under the first John, Jerry John Rawlings who came to continue Nkrumah's unfinished agenda, expired on April 18, 2025 when Ghana was 68 years old under you, the last John, John Kwame Dramani Mahama the 4th and 6th President of the 4th Republic of Ghana, who came to do a Reset in order to complete Nkrumah’s unfinished agenda, in order for Ghana to enjoy her “Economic Independence”.

Kwame Nkrumah of blessed memories stated that "political independence without economic independence is meaningless". He warned that without controlling their own resources, African nations would fall into neo-colonialism—where foreign powers still dictate economic policy and trade—making independence only a façade.

Nkrumah believed "the independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it is linked to the total liberation of Africa".

He urged that Africa’s vast resources must serve African people rather than foreign interests.

He famously advocated for a united, industrialised Africa (United States of Africa) to secure industrialization, state-led development, and true freedom from foreign domination.

His message was that freedom is not just about having a flag and singing National anthems, but ensuring that a nation has a strong, self-reliant economy to improve the daily lives of its people.

Thank God, under your ‘Reset Agenda’ the Government of Ghana, through the Minerals Commission, declined Gold Fields Limited’s application to renew the lease for another 30 years, citing a failure to demonstrate material compliance with the Minerals and Mining Act, 2006 (Act 703), including a lack of declared mineral reserves in their 2024 report.

Following the expiration, a one-year extension was granted, which is set to expire on Saturday April 18, 2026, when is 69 years old.

GOOD NEWS

The good news is that the mine is set to revert to the State/Ghanaian ownership upon the final expiry on April 18, 2026, as Ghana celebrates her 69th birthday.

The 12-month extension from 18th April 2025 to 18th April 2026 was intended for a "smooth transition" and "safe and orderly handover". Gold Fields is set to formally hand over the mine on Saturday April 18, 2026.

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has initiated a competitive bidding process to identify a new operator, with a preference for ‘Ghanaian-centered ownership’. This marks the beginning of indigenous Ghanaian Entrepreneurs taking over the heights of Ghana's Industrial space.

NEOCOLONIALISM IS EXPECTED TO LAST 70 YEARS

Ghana turns 70 years on 6th March 2027 and on Sunday 18th April 2027 I will personally organize a Royal Thanksgiving service to say goodbye to ‘Neocolonialism’! To reliance on IMF/World Bank policies that dictate national policy. Debts will be cancelled; Youth unemployment will be a thing of the past! And Ghana will be poised to lend to Nations and not be a borrower!

Ghana was under British colonial rule for approximately 90 to 113 years, beginning with the establishment of the Gold Coast Crown Colony in 1874 (or, informally, with the bond of 1844) and ending with independence on March 6, 1957. While Europeans settled earlier, active, centralized British rule lasted for over a century. Now Neocolonialism is expected to last for 70 years.

Which means it must come to an end beginning from ‘Independence Day’ 6th March 2027 to Republic Day/National Day of Prayer 1st July 2030.

Neocolonialism is the indirect control of nominally independent, developing nations by developed powers through economic, financial, and cultural means rather than direct military occupation. It perpetuates colonial-era dependencies, often trapping states in debt while maintaining exploitative trade relations, frequently highlighted by scholars like Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, who described it as the "last stage of imperialism"!

A CALL FOR NATIONAL PRAYER

The Scripture is our example and as Jesus said in John 10:35 "the Scriptures cannot be broken"

It is written in Jeremiah 29:10-14 "For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you and cause you to return to this place. The place of self-determination.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity".

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" is a, quote from 2 Chronicles 7:14. This verse promises divine restoration if believers fulfill conditions of humility, prayer, seeking God, and repentance.

Isaiah 43:7 states that everyone called by God’s name was created, formed, and made specifically for His glory. This passage emphasizes that believers belong to God, serving as His witnesses and reflecting His honor through their lives. It highlights a purposeful creation rather than chance, driven by God's redeeming love.

"When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”

The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South.

Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him. [Psalms 126:1-6]

An immediate urgent call for National Prayer across the 16 Regions is the key to unleashing this Divine favor!

Based on Isaiah 41:17-18, when the poor and needy seek water and find none, their tongues parched with thirst, the Lord promises to hear, answer, and not forsake them. God pledges to open rivers on high plateaus, create fountains in valleys, and turn deserts into pools of water to provide sustenance. In other words, He will make a way where there seemed to be no way!

According to Daniel 9:1-3 when Daniel, understood from the Scriptures the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years he set his face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.

Prayer gets results! According to Ezra 1:1 "in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia/Iran, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing. Amen

God bless you Sir in your endeavors to leave a legacy!

Long live the Reset Agenda! God bless our Homeland Ghana!
