Based on conservative estimates, there are more than 4 billion women on the planet. Assuming that one billion of them are children, we are left with approximately 3 billion women to attend to during the month of October.

This means that health facilities across the globe would have to prepare themselves to screen approximately six(6)billion individual breasts within the month of October, making it an extremely challenging task to reach every woman across the nations and the vast sea of breasts with which the Creator has blessed the world.

During these challenging times, we call on all men to make themselves available in the service of the breast, no matter how demanding or busy their schedules may be. After all, service to a beautiful breast is indeed a service to humanity and, ultimately, a contribution to peace on Mother Earth.

Pink October is a global call to protect breast health. Access to screening saves lives. Let us support education, early detection, and compassionate care for every woman.

Stand with the women in your life: encourage regular check-ups, assist with appointments, and volunteer in your community.
