So Accra Stadium could not help Medeama against Chelsea?

The game may have been played over a week ago but the theme of this article is still relevant despite Chelsea losing the Super Cup to Nania FC on Sunday.

Medeama protested against playing the final of the Glo G8 against Berekum Chelsea in Sunyani but Nana Kwame Chelsea demonstrated to them at the Accra Sports Stadium that a venue does not play football.

How many clubs in Ghana after Kotoko and Hearts continued to claim more laurels after winning the league. Chelsea’s performance has proven to everybody that winning the league title was no fluke amid brushing aside all the rumours that they won the Glo Ghana Premier League title because of referees’ favours.

Chelsea’s performance is all because of the financial strength of Mr. Kyeremeh, the buying of quality players and the wit and charisma of their CEO Obed Nana Kwame Nketiah. After winning the league, they won the President Cup at the expense of Kotoko, reached semi-final of the FA Cup and have now added the Glo G8 trophy.

Two more trophies are yet to be won, that is the SWAG Cup and the CAF Champions’ League to attest to the fact that tradition, name and history no longer play football but the quality of the material at one’s disposal.

The team is like Barcelona or the triumphant Brazil squad that won the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Without a coach, they can still perform because of quality materials, sound management, cordial harmony, understanding and trust that exists between Kyeremeh and Nana Kwame.

Assistant coaches Amissah and Orlando Wellington, I believe could have joined different clubs from Chelsea but are still working under Steve Polack and all is going on well.

With this performances, I foresee Chelsea defending the Glo Premier League title they won last season once Nana Kwame has not stopped giving all the praise to God even if they are down.

Ayekoo to Berekum supporters, the entire team, management and the bankroller Mr. Kyeremeh himself.
