For lack of advice, Bechem United will perish

My first article to Bechem United immediately after they qualified from the Middle League to the elite division was the warning not to venture to play their home matches at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi if they want to survive in the league.

I think the readers in here remember that article, *‘Bechem United digging own grave if they use Kumasi.’ * http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/SportsArchive/artikel.php?ID=211535**

Look at what happened to them when the Glo Premier League got started over the weekend, lost 2-3 to Edubiase at home. Do you know what it implies? It means the team have lost their first league match as debutants which is very crucial.

The venue supposed to be their home ground is now going to be neutral grounds for any club that engages them there. Bechem would have won the Edubiase game even if they had opted to play the match at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

I don't know who gave the team that advice to temporally use the Baba Yara as their home venue instead of Brong Ahafo. A venue that couldn't save its own dwellers, King Faisal got relegated and even Kotoko found it difficult to win there. When Kotoko plays away from home they find it easy to win so Bechem United should ask themselves this question why it must be so?

Now Edubiase has taken their pound of flesh, other smaller clubs that Bechem can beat to record home points too will follow suit if the team still remain at Baba Yara. The Ghana league is played with a strategy; that is record victories in the first 5 home matches and try to get few points away and see if you won’t survive relegation.

Bechem is waiting to get their own playing grounds but how soon will that be now that pressure is mounting, the question asks. Why don't the team stick within Brong Ahafo for their matches, another question asks. If not Sunyani, Dormaa and Berekum are certainly available.

Kumasi is not the answer for their survival. If they want to avoid relegation they must leave now because the Ashanti teams are going to use Bechem United as their punch bag. Edubiase have gotten theirs, it’s now left with Kotoko, Ashantigold and Medeama to also have the share of the cake.

I won’t write much more but a word to the wise is--------------------
