“Ex-president President John Rawlings has criticized the ongoing prosecution of

former Ivorian leader Laurent Gbagbo. Describing his prosecution as “abduction” the

ex-president minced no words in expressing his utter disgust in the prosecution of

the deposed Ivorian leader” (Ghanaweb, Dec 4, 2011).

JJ the agency of abduction

The vulture in a dance

Of innocence

Of holier-than-thou

Still it is the bird of prey

Swaggering

Swaying

Sashaying

In a dance of innocence

Staggering

Sauntering

Spluttering

JJ is still a bird of prey

JJ the agency of abduction

Like the Vulture

The innocuous vulture

That cleans its gory beak

Preens its bloody feathers

After harvests of violence

JJ, the man-child

Of gory amnesia

Of megalomania

Of sanctimoniousness

Of diversity of chaos

Tells us about abduction

Like the preying vulture

Sanctimonious in flight

Ah! Self-righteous

Ah! Hypocritical

Ah! Pretentious

The man of prey

Praying on abduction

The abductor’s disgust

JJ’s “UTTER DISGUST”

These absurdities of JJ

The arsonist with water

Poised with a water hose

Poised to water-hose fire

Listen to JJ the abductor

Foaming at the mouth

Foaming on sanctimony

Echoing abduction

Abduction in the graves

Of Afrifa

Of Yeye Boy

Of B. B. Bismarck

Of Odeefo Asare

Of the Judges

Of all the abducted

JJ, the man-child

Of amnesia

Of megalomania

Of sanctimoniousness

Like the vulture

Self-righteous

Holier than thou

Ah! Hypocritical

Ah! Pretentious

The bird of prey

JJ, the man-child of amnesia

Like the vulture

Sanctimonious in flight

Self-righteous

Holier than thou

Ah! Hypocritical

Ah! Pretentious

The bird of prey

That soars like a swan

In clouds of innocence

Like the bird of prey

That prays on preying

That soars above its prey

Like the vulture

The bird of prey

Preens

Cleans up

Saunters

Swaggers

With feet twirled

For a dance of gaiety

Soars above its prey

Soars with grace

Dancing in the air

On winds of innocence

JJ the agency of abduction

Of holier-than-thou
